Beautiful meta @obisgirl! A and E are giving us a gift by allowing fans to be a part of Hook and Emma’s story, and I’m personally going to be enjoying every second of it

Morrison echoes that sentiment, saying that though Emma and Hook both desire “to be the better versions of themselves and vulnerable enough to be close to someone romantically,”
And what do true love’s do for each other? They inspire their significant other to be the best version of themselves. Charming wanted that for Snow, Belle wants that for Rumple. Here, we have Hook and Emma, both broken people who want to be better versions of themselves for each other.
All this waiting will be the death of me 😛

& this would be the reaction I had to Adam’s “It will hopefully be an endearing moment” (Charming’s reaction to Emma & Killy’s 1st date).
… Whats to bet we get the “What are your intentions with my daughter?”, “Have her home by __pm” or “You hurt her & you answer to me speech” lol 😉 “They” AND what they say, do NOT matter. No one really cares what they think they know. Why they obsess over dead Neal…does not matter. They mean NOTHING in the scheme of ONCE things. They have NO control over anyone’s joy, even their own. “They”. aren’t. important. But boy howdy, those fabulous pretties sure are meaningful. My eyes are overflowing! Me likey the HOT leather dude’s face AND the struggling tortured soul, AND the snark and the wit, and the accent, and the loyalty, and the devotion, and the pain, and the heart and the angst and the deliciously romantic delivery of a splendid vocaulary and the aura and the guyliner and the eyes and the depth and the resilience and the courage, and the faults and the fine, oh so fine determination and conviction of his love…and the unshakable hope he has that he can be a better man, a deserving man, an honorable man. No, they dont matter- they will get their backsides handed to them if they come onto my account & try to peddle their septic crap as reality, then insult me when they get proven wrong though 😉
Ordinarily I’d simply say something like- ‘how about you like what you like & I’ll like what I like & the fandom will be a nice place to spend time in’- this time however I’d had enough of the negativity towards the show & occasionally our ship/pirate, that I see on these forums when I venture out of this thread, that this rude cow got slammed with facts & banned when insulted me- over that crud well in-truly!
I’d been having really good conversations with random Once fans, which included some whom were upset with Neal’s death, but have since accepted it & moved on from it (as one of them said- they cant change it, so theres no point dwelling on it) & are now looking forward to what the show brings in S4. Then that stupid troll came along & tried to rain on the parade- I’m not sure what offended her (I assume it was a her anyway lol) most- the fact I shipped CS or the fact other Sf/NF fans had moved on lol.
The whole we like CS because Hook is hot is so hypocritical. Sex appeal is important but its not the primary reason why we ‘ship it. And you know, given how many SF fans outnumber us on the forums here–I think its safe to say a majority of them have a crush on or think that MRJ is hot.
Agreed, it is extremely hypocritical (which I pointed out to her, along with all the points about how they introduced Neal to us, then blocked her after she responded with ‘I was just lying to myself’- I’m happy to debate with rational people of differing opinions- I cant debate with stupidity) & yes, you are correct- since they used to talk about how attractive he was/is all the time, it is more than fair to say (at least on these forums) the ‘hot’ factor plays into it- I mean look at how many Rumbelle fans talk about how “hot/sexy” Rumple is, yet they dont get told they “only like him because he’s hot”- it also seems to escape the notice of ‘some’ fans that Rumple has indeed treated Belle very poorly in the past & is doing so again in someways, yet he’s still deserving of love & redemption.
Killian Jones has the highest respect for love. He has a tremendous devotion to the people that he loves. There’s Liam “I’d follow you to the ends of the world, brother.” Milah, whom he devoted a large majority of his life avenging and now, there’s Emma “I’d go to the end of the world or time for her.” Like, I can’t understand why people can’t see the amazing devotion he has for the people that he loves and that’s what Emma needs. He also doesn’t give up on the people that he loves either. He will always put Emma first, love Emma no matter what and will always come back for her. Might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like, if you’re an Emma stan, then you should be a CS ‘shipper by default as well. Most of us I think have a pretty good understanding of Emma’s issues, in regard to Neal and her life in general. And for a majority of season three (with the exception of a possible true love’s kiss, what was going to happen in The Jolly Roger, the wedding spoiler — I think most of us were split about who was getting married. ), we’ve been right about most everything else. Here’s hoping that streak continues in season four.
Yes, exactly! I totally agree- stupid person was trying to tell me the reason I like CS was “Hook was hot”- because if I thought it was for any other reason, I was just lying to myself, since Neal & Emma where obviously supposed to be together, that was obvious until S3b happened & I was WTH are you taking about lady- CS was set up from S2 & would have been in S1 if A&E had go the rights for PP in time.
If Neal was supposed to be with Emma, A&E 1) wouldnt have made him the person who destroyed Emma’s faith & trust in men & love. 2) Wouldnt have introduced him abandoning Emma a 2nd time! 3) Wouldnt have shown us him not just abandoning her, but letting her go to jail for a crime HE committed. 4) Wouldnt have had him say something along the lines of ‘If I knew she was alright, I could move on”. 5) Wouldnt have considered making Henry’s father & adult Bae 2 different characters. 6) Wouldnt have shown us Neal happily engaged to another women 7) Wouldnt have shown us Neal belittling Emma’s ‘powers’ ….. but yeah, sure, Hook being introduced to us as a ‘typical’ Pirate captain, who then gets a tragic character arc in order to meet Emma some 300yrs later & Emma almost immediately “feeling she cant trust him & that they are kindred spirits/have a connection” etc. Obviously means they arent going to be together o.O LOL
I think the only other character (so far), with the same/similar depth of devotion to his loved ones is Charming, otherwise Killy is heads above the rest in the ability to love wholly & deeply department.
Despite the few septic fans opinions – CS is special because of the tenderness, belief & understanding between the two of them. Killy fully & totally believes in Emma, he understands her- he pushes her when she needs to be push & treats her with the utmost tenderness when she needs it, the rest of the time he respects the hell out of her … That is something she had been sorely lacking in her only other relationship (that we know about). If people want to dislike CS because they simply hate/dislike Hook, fine- but dont go around saying you hate CS because “Hook treats women like crap” when he hasnt been. That’s as bad as saying Rumbelle cant happen because Rumple murdered Milah, his maid & treated Belle like dirt etc., or OQ cant happen because Regina murdered her ‘lover’ (Graham) on top of dominating him, murdered her father, manipulated another man into murdering her husband, wanted to murder her step daughter, manipulated Henry etc. or Ruby can never have another lover because she murdered & ate her last one….. o.O Jees, the few septic, wallowing fans out there, need to build a bridge & get with the program :/ Perfect examples of how Hook treats Emma like poop right here…
Hint to the haters- One of her relationships is not like the other-
Mini rant over- stupid twitter jerk didnt know what hit her before I banned her- doesnt pay to tick me off when I wanna rejoice about S4 & CS feels LOL 😛 😉
