ET exclusive CS spoilers First Date Jitters: Calling all Captain Swan fans, this one’s for you! Now that the obstacles between Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) have finally vanished, it’s time to watch the chemistry-charged couple experience some adorable firsts. “Captain Swan fans can look forward to seeing their first date,” Kitsis triumphantly revealed to ETonline.
However Horowitz warns that you shouldn’t freak out just yet! “Like most first dates, things don’t go as smoothly as you’d hope,” he said. Yikes! Kitsis added, “It is still a drama and as much as we’d like to just have the two of them order pizza and watch Netflix, I think our fans – even though some of them would like to see that scene – would be bored.” Ummm…. No we wouldn’t. Give us pizza and Captain Swan cuddles!
Adding to the awkwardness of a new relationship, Emma is going to have a tough time getting her charming father to approve of her new bad boy beau. “What I’d like to see is Captain Hook get the father speech from Charming (Josh Dallas),” Kitsis teased. “I wouldn’t let my daughter date a pirate!” Hmm… but would you let her live with one? Since the Jolly Roger is still M.I.A., will we get to see any Captain Swan sleepovers? “I would say [moving in together] is a bit fast,” Horowitz said. “But I think Emma is going to realize this year that she needs her own place.”

Why is there still 10days to go!!!!

They’re going to kill us with these spoilers 😉

In the finale, Emma and Captain Hook seemed to be taking their relationship to the next level. Is season four their attempt at being a “normal” couple?
Horowitz: There’s no chance that Emma — the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming — and Captain Hook will ever be a normal couple, but their feelings obviously reached a new boiling point at the end of last season. And we’re going to continue to explore those feelings, and we’re going to continue to explore how they can or can’t get closer.
Kitsis: But in a real way. Emma has had a lifetime of putting up walls, so one kiss does not mean love and [let’s] go register at Pottery Barn. As for Hook, we’re going to see some old rivalries. We can’t forget that as much as he loves Emma and has done the right thing for her, we’ve seen him do horrible things in the past because he’s a pirate. He and Rumplestiltskin unfortunately are going to find their detente coming to an end.

Why is it that the last 2weeks seem to drag on forever :/ 😉 I want Once & my angsty CS fix- like yesterday!!!!!!

Teehee! The more angst/drama the better I say! Let the others have their boring ‘ships.

Actually with those two, opening letters probably would be filled with angst anyway Colin has chemistry with everyone/thing. I’m sure he’d be able to make watching paint dry sexy as.

    LOL, I know right! 😀

Noooooooooo! Drama drama and more drama!! I’m such an angst fiend. :D *sings* I want adventure in the great wide somewhere!!!!

Lol- I’ll take the drama any day as well (bring on the angst- weird how CSer’s actually enjoy the angst of their ship, while most the other ships tend to complain about their angst lol)- but those 2 have have awesome chemistry & I ‘could’ watch them open letters if I had too lol 😉 😛

On the more populous and expansive Internet sites, ONCE is enjoying a very healthy fandom that is excited for the approaching new season. Specific to our group(ies) here, Captain Swan has always been very popular and continues to grow. Rumplestiltskin still enjoys quite the cult following and Regina is still a passionate Goddess. The lifeblood of a series is the general public who tune in. ONCE remains quite healthy. The vast majority of fans don’t analyze like we of the Internet Boggling communities do. They just tune in and enjoy the creative ride.

Agreed & Oh how to be a sane ‘general audience’ member- there wasn’t much hope for me with Once lol, I got very excited just by the trailers LOL 😛 But who wouldnt want to analyze the leather right off of our Pirate or Swan or both I ask?! 😉 😉 😉

The introduction of the Frozen story line may have been a stroke of brilliance after all. Here’s hoping a lot of the posters who flocked away due to *everything ONCE* negativity in many other threads here, come back when we get on with the story and the adventures as Adam and Eddie want to tell them.

I think so, I mean POM posted the screwballninja meta on how Frozen isnt just “cashing in” like some of the septic moaners want us to believe, I liked how she said something along the lines of ‘Why is it ok for A&E to use FT from the 80s & 90s, but not recent ones’. I say bring on Frozen & I seriously hope they do Brave as well 😉

Outside the thimble of Internet fan forums, the general public still calls the shots. And they are positive and excited.

As far as Happy Domesticated downtime, I prefer that Hook and Emma go on a dozen rip roaring adventures as the Dynamic Duo of Storybrooke and Beyond that test their love, their commitment and our patience! Drama is…well drama. I like them lusty and sassy… and super connected

    They sure are 🙂
As far as CS goes, I think I could watch them open letters lol 😉 😛

While that is definitely nice to see, those aren’t what people are usually referring to when they mention “the ratings”, the ones that keep a show on the air–those would be the Neilsen ratings. As far as that goes, there was a definite drop between seasons one and two, but in general two and three were about the same…the average actual numbers dropped a little, but its overall ranking went up.

Interesting you say that, as Adam specially tweeted high Neilsen? ratings a number of times during S3 with the messages like ‘the rating is in ‘& ep** is seasons highest yet- Thanks for watching’, ‘best ratings Once has seen yet- Thanks for watching’ or ‘Series high numbers- Thanks for watching’ etc. & from what I remember when the Dvr? (or whatever the ‘recorded to watch later’ numbers are called), were added into the stats, Once skyrocketed up the ratings- Once also sat in the top 20 most watched shows for weeks on end (wish I hadnt deleted all the info & stats I had on it!)

We also have to take into consideration TV viewership across the board declined drastically, so at 1st while some of the numbers may appear lower than last yr, statistically they are actually higher:)

Not CS related, but thought it worth the share- since there’s so much general Once negativity what with this site being heavy on the sour grapes train over story direction.

ABC’s Once Upon A Time is consistently one of SpoilerTV’s most popular series. IMDb users also rate it, with 117,907 ratings equating to an 8.1 average. Once Upon A Time has been on the air for three seasons, and its last season saw a strong increase in its episode ratings, with the season finale garnering the highest episode rating yet, a 9.5 averaged from 855 votes. All of its premieres and finales sit higher than their respective season trendlines too.

The IMDB stats seem to telly quite nicely with the actual viewer/rating numbers in this case.
It drives me nuts when I see people harping on about how S3 had lower ratings than S2- bollocks! S3’s later eps (after Neal’s death- from memory), were that time slots & day’s most watched show for 3weeks in a row & rated higher over all across the season. As far as viewership & ratings goes, S3 has been the strongest yet- hardly the downward decline those with sour grapes want to believe it was :/

Needed to get that off my chest- sorry. Rant over 🙂
