I’m not taking it that segment as seriously as some of the fandom, primarily because it’s two lies and a truth. But I’m really fine either way, if the hook stays or if it goes. But he definitely should not be defined as a character because of that hook.

And I agree with all of it because we weren’t introduced to Hook from the start of the Crocodile. He became that persona at the end. He is Killian Jones at heart. With or without the hook, he is Killian Jones. Hook is a persona.
Yeah, I totally agree. I also come from the view point that a fake limb or in this case hook, dont make the person a person 😉
I was just thinking how slow our thread is going these days- I really miss some of our ever enthusiastic ‘old crowed’- I wish the stupid shipping wars on here hadn’t chased so many CS’ers off of this site altogether.
Seems this thread is only really being held up by approx 10 or so of us atm & that’s with ‘stuff’ going on to discuss :/ Last year it was major speculation over what was going down on show etc. at this stage- it’s such a shame the stupidity & rigidity of some fans have diminished the presence of other fandoms on certain sites (& this applies to all heavily biased sites).Between Emma and Hook we are dealing with some extraordinary emotional baggage! That is why the possible heart and soul outcome of their relationship could be so intensely rewarding. We have already seen how deeply Hook feels things behind his smoldering “rapscallion” persona…and Emma’s walls of stoic cynicism and fear have been very well presented. The possibilities of them realizing a sensational life connection are truly the stuff of the “thinking woman’s” dream come true.
(and it would be immensely poetic fun to see Emma fight FOR Hook)

the entire Hook/Neal connection should remain a done deal. I truly don’t think Hook needs to struggle with Neal’s death because his connection was with the teenaged boy, not the man Bae became. They made their peace before Neal died. Neal’s death was Neal’s doing, and had nothing to do with Hook.

Alive or dead, there are pages of every characters’s story that will be left blank because of the sheer amount of stories there are to tell. Some questions will always be left unanswered in the time frame alloted the storytellers. Besides any “Young Cora-like” flashback, Neal’s story has pretty much been told for all intents and purposes.
Sad but true.

I don’t think anyone’s posted this yet. It’s an interview of “two lies and a truth” with the cast and A and E. Firstly, Colin needs to put his tongue away in public because it gives me ideas
and his answers were pretty easy to guess esp. when he’s blushing. And secondly, I don’t know how I feel about A and E comments esp about Hook. My personal opinion is that Killian should keep his hook. Its who he is now and losing it would change his whole characters persona. The clothing change I don’t mind so much but Hooks not Hook without his “attachment”.
Dont worry too much about the Hook gets his hand back, thing- he’s had it back on & off since S2 😉 …. I’m now wondering if Killy really does ‘loose the guyliner’ given his ‘whoops I screwed it up already’, lots of blushing & cageyness over another Emma & Killian kiss bahahahaha 😉 😛 😉
I wonder if “loosing the guyline” will become CS’s version of “making Tacos” 😉Dueling Daddies (grin)

I’m glad there will be some personal character exploration for Emma and Hook. He gave up a lot for her and once she addresses her own internal demons which apparently will be paralleled with Elsa’s internal struggles she will need to address just exactly the depth of what Killian has sacrificed. He earned adoration!! I hope there will be enough lighter touches to keep the relationship avoiding a backslide into angst and emotional gloom.
ONCE needs an adventurous duo to dashingly quest on now that Snowing may be somewhat domesticated. And unless Marion isn’t who she appears to be (!), the Hood Saga and Rumbelle’s newly wedded woes will cover the soap opera drama quite well.

The coolest thing about all these interviews and seating placements is that they are together. And as fun as these are these conventions are first and foremost prime marketing weekends, so they are only heavily promoting those things that are selling the show, big-time!

There’s not many up now but since today was the last day and people are traveling home this week, more interviews should pop up within the coming days.

I just want more brain tingling adventure, affectionate sass, vivid passion and fantasy frolic for Hook and Emma. Separately but also as a kick butt team.
This too- I would really like to see a team SB princes- Charming, Killian & Robin (not sure if I should include Rumple, since he rarely plays well with others & can fix most problems with magic anyway lol), go on an adventure… with Henry (so Rumple might need to go as well) 😀 Might be cool to see how they interact away from the girls 😉
Obviously more of their amazing teamwork in dealing with the crisis of the moment and latest Big Bad. But I do actually want to see some domestic stuff as well. Both Emma and Killian have always longed for a family so, even though they are both adventurous souls, I think it would make sense for them to also enjoy being domestic together – they do need some time to just slow down and be together and enjoy each other without worrying about getting killed.
Agree with all of this- I too want to see some domestic life as well, just not sure we’ll get it in 4A 😉
I would also like to see Emma recognize how she has taken Killian for granted.
Good point, I hope we get this as well.
So deciding to give up what she would see as a “normal” housing situation in an apartment or house to live on a boat for Killian would be a huge show of love.

I would like to see Hook has hobbies/job that doesn’t involve Emma.
I think we pretty much saw that all last year- Emma & Killian came together to do stuff, but went their separate ways as well- but I do agree, I want them to keep Killian tied to something other than Emma, even if it’s just an one off passing comment (realistically All the other couples are like this once ‘cannon’, with maybe the exception of Rumbelle- but that may change now).
I would like to see Emma, Hook and Henry watching the Back to the Future trilogy together.

I’m officially dying for S4 to start in order to figure out what all this means for their characters! “It’s complicated” seem the goto when describing the CS relationship for S4 😛 Swear I heard “It’s complicated” at least 20times over 5 interviews lol 😉And what’s coming up between your characters?
Jmo: It’s complicated. It’s always the answer on television, I think. We have to deal with Emma’s struggles with her past and some internal stuff that she’s afraid of, that will eventually be revealed a few episodes in. You’ll start to see why she’s so specifically fighting letting go. Uh, God. I didn’t even mean it. [sings] Let it go. Let it go. [Colin laughs] And then, I don’t know from your side, I only know from my side.
Colin: I mean. Hook gave up his ship.
Jmo: I knoooow. I’ve had these conversations-
Colin: He’s trying. He’s trying real hard to make it work, but it’s also, I mean, look, the thing is, for Hook, it’s like, a big deal for him to realize he can love again. Or that he could find somebody that he was willing to give up the whole vendetta for. He’s also a pirate. He’s still Captain Hook. You know what I mean? So he had to deal with that. And sort of hundreds of years of living as this person and trying to become someone he feels is worthy of Emma.
Jmo: Isn’t that sweet?
