Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
I do not care what guise Dorothy ends up in, I’m so pleased we’re having a melting moment. *evil cackle*
Definitely a dud. A plot device dud in the vein of Convenient Plot Device Blue Fairy.
I was not surprised at this twist – it’s something I had suspected for a while this season. But the way it was done did surprise me. I did not think Snow would go through with it.
EXCELLENT character development in the last few episodes between Regina and Snow. Regina’s emotion as she watched Snow crumble Charming’s heart…. le sigh. Fantastic.
The cop out so that Charming wasn’t dead? Eh. Bit too easy and ridiculous. But you can’t have your Prince Charming dropping dead now.
I was so full of feels after Hook had his moment of morality and ran to Ariel… then swore furiously at my computer once it became apparent this wasn’t the real Ariel. Horrible witch!
Agree: Hook needs to tell Emma and then let her decide.
Let us all take a moment to appreciate that Emma Swan dated the Wizard of Oz. I don’t know why this is more ridiculous to me than dating a flying monkey, but it is.
This is hilarious.
I think she comes off as even more unhinged because her lunacy repeats what we’ve seen already with Rumple, Regina and Cora.
Regina looks young and innocent in this episode (in the flashbacks) so I assumed that the training scenes took place between engagement to Snow’s father and pushing Mummy through the looking glass. That way the letter makes sense.
Rule #1 for this show: don’t overanalyse the small stuff.
I think it was a random dude. Zelena and Regina get their magical ability from their mother. Cora might have learned to hone her natural talent from Rumplestiltskin but even he recognised in her that she was naturally talented.
Dad was just a stable boy roll in the hay. Irrelevant to the plot. Girl’s gotta have fun!
I thought Cora was meant to have “nudged” the twister? Or did I overinterpret that scene?
I guess we still haven’t really seen why Cora gave her up.
I love/hate the “it’s not the wild west”/”No… it’s the WICKED West!” line. It’s so corny…. but the way Bec Mader delivers it is endearing.
