I love that they seemingly got a magical costume change, and in Snow’s case, EPIC HAIR EXTENSIONS.
And totes approve of Regina back in Evil Queen garb even if, going by Charming’s proximity to her in that screen cap, she’s no longer Evil as just Looks Damn Good In Black Queen….

Like I get that it’s supposed to be you stab the Dark One with the DO Dagger & you become the new DO; but Rumple *is* the DO and he’s stabbing someone who isn’t the DO….
and that’s where I get confused. Why the magical effects? Is there something we don’t know yet (but have spent much time theorising) about Pan’s pixie dust shadow transformation to a perennial teenager and the Dark One curse?
And what are the mechanics of the Dark One dagger? You stab someone, anyone with the DO Dagger and you become the DO, *or* you stab the current DO with the DOD and become the new DO? It’s obviously an object closely tied to blood magic. But whose? Does it require the spilling of blood (in which case, Rumple is most likely still alive and with all his DO powers!) or does it require the spilling of the current DO’s blood? (in which case…. I have no idea what that means for Rumple).
When he described how much he hated Rumple…from birth. I almost lost. Just started screaming at my TV. I give him the worst parent in the history of EVER award.

Well I personally think this episode confirmed CS as true love.
We know he loves her. We still aren’t clear on Emma’s feelings. Which is why I say Hook is her Mr Right Now. I need convincing he is her Twoo Wuv, but it’s certainly possible.
Captain Swan is a lot of sparks and UST from both parties, but the only declarations of love have come from one direction: his.
Emma’s feelings are not so clear. What is clear is that she wants him, hence why I’ve dubbed him her Mr Right Now (on the kitchen counter….!) But there haven’t been declarations of love. If anything, we’ve had Emma declare her love to Neal albeit with an enormous disclaimer: I love you more than anything but I wish you were still dead because it hurts too much.
This is what I like about this show. It’s open to interpretation.
“I won’t forget you Swan.” “Good” (don’t you dare forget me Hook)
or “I won’t forget you Swan.” “Good” (that’s nice… you weird man.)
“I love you more than anything but I wish you were still dead”
or “I love you more than anything but I wish you were still dead”
It’s not clear cut. It is very much, like someone noted earlier, like Han and Leia. “I love you!” “I know” – that’s one of the most accurately romantic lines ever! He didn’t need to say anything else because he said it non verbally, but audiences had several years of fangasming between Empire and Jedi to dissect whether he meant “of course you do, I’m the best thing since sliced bread” or “I know you love me and I love you”
That is basically what is happening here with Neal and Hook and Emma. I’m totally OK with this.
…. as long as she eventually gets to “have” Hook. On the kitchen counter. 😉

I still don’t give a s*** who Emma’s OTP is. Could be Neal, could be Hook, could be some other guy (or girl!). I just don’t care. The plot will get to Mr Right in the long run, and bugger overexamining every hint of Darcy and Lizzie esque foreshadowing from either ship. I think everyone needs to take a long tall glass of Chill The F*** Out and get over it.
But Hook is definitely her Mr Right Now.
So it’s 3.5 years.
2.5 in Storybrooke/Enchanted Forest/Neverland and then a year for Emma & Henry in NYC with their cursed happy state and a year for all the rest of the scooby gang back in the Enchanted Forest.
So I’m guessing that 3.12 we will see what the rest of them did in that year while in present day NYC Hook tries to get Emma to remember. Depending on how long that takes, 3.12-3.13-3.14 might be a get-Emma-home plot which builds up to explain why Snowing are in danger (remember what Hook said at her door – “your parents are in danger”) which is presumably something to do with the Wicked Witch.
And Scooby Gang make it back to Storybrooke. How or why I have no idea and I refuse to drive myself mad trying to figure it out until we have spoilers/nods from the producers!
Yep. It’s clear from the promo that all *but* Emma and Henry remember, and from that we can deduce that the past 2.5 years have still happened… but Emma and Henry are cursed not to remember it. (But are “cursed” to have lived a happy life together…. thanks to Regina!)
Yeah, I’m completely lost. I thought Storybrooke was wiped off the map? Confused.
