I love Belle. Don’t get my query wrong, I just thought it odd that all the other “Princesses” aside from Milan, who isn’t an princess in the movies or story, are recognized but Belle is not. Belle is one of my favorite characters.

I don’t necessarily think that making Belle a princess would make her more or less important. Frankly I hate that everyone is a freakin princess. So it was nice to see Belle was the exception but was still awesome because of her character not because of some title. And also sometimes I wish ONCE wasn’t so Disney like. Being a princess is overrated. I rather be like Mulan.

    Hmm fair point

What do you mean? Belle was not a princess in the original story as you write in your post, then why would she be a princess on Once? Original Belle became a princess/Queen when she married the Beast/cursed Prince. Making her a Princess on Once would not make her character any more valid or important. Its the story they tell about her that has that effect.

Cinderella was not a princess until she married her prince. In once Ella was not a princess until she marries Prince Phillip.

I know they have their reasons, but it just really irks me. Good catch one the Ariel thing.

Well yeah. I’m very familiar with Once’s plot. But I think that it discredits Belle. Perhaps instead of being the daughter of a nobleman she could have been a natural born princess. Or shoot, even Rumple’s mother could be royalty.  I just feel like her not being recognized as a princess makes her seem less important in a way, and that really bothers me. To me she’s the savior of Rumple, and therefore a huge character.

I think that no MAN can kill the Jabberwocky but a WOMAN might be able to.

    I like that head canon

It would be very Rumpelstiltskin if she accidentally did something that was meant to help them but actually ended up separating them from her. Like okay, we saw with the Lizard, she made a very, very vague wish and it backfired.

Maybe her vague wish was for her sons to be immortal and all powerful–the unintended consequence was that they became genies in bottles

Aw. That would make sense. It would certainly put an interesting twist to, “They’re growing up too fast! I wish for my boys to be young and beautiful forever.” Poof! They’re genies. Lol.

It’d be real cool if the genie who granted that wish was Sidney

Ok, here is what I think is/will happening. Everyone is ripped from storybrooke and put in ef. I think WWW wants regina to suffer, how else other than watching her son grow but not knowing who she is? and her kinda being stuck in a fishbowl not even allowed to cummunicate with him. For instance how she was when Owen crossed the town line and couldn’t see her but she could him. Everyone is put back in storybrooke including www, being so close to emma and henry bae tries to leave but is hurt, so he’s the one on the guerney. He tells hook to go find emma and bring them back. Hook succeeds but there is some unknown obsticles. He gets them back and henry remembers when he sees the book. Emma on the other hand needs more convincing.
