I’m also concerned that they show will get cancelled before A&E can properly end it. ABC would have to warn them in AT LEAST January that they may get the ax, since that seems to be how far ahead they write the episodes, to at least give them enough time to wrap things up decently-ish. But everything else makes it look like ABC doesn’t announce renewals until the seasons are over, or almost over. If that’s the case, and A&E are still pushing for a season 5 (going on the assumption that season 4 is a lock), I worry that we may never actually get those happy endings they say that have planned.
A recent interview (I can’t remember which one) made it sound like they have vague plans for a multiple season future, but no set storyline to take them between now and the end (I don’t KNOW this for a fact, this is only going off of the impressions they’ve given in interviews). So if they were cancelled before they could plan out a solid ending, then what? What did we waste our time on? You can’t keep dangling the Carrot of Happy Endings in front of my face for almost 3 years (more if we go into season 4/5) and then pull it away without me feeling *some* kind of anger and resentment. In a way I feel like that’s what happened in 315. I kept believing there would be a happy ending for Nealfire, BECAUSE THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SHOW and then “Nope. We lied. Hope you like it! #hope!”. But if this happens over the long run and everything ends prematurely before ANYONE gets a happy ending? Is it wrong I kind of want other people to finally understand our pain?

Uhm this is a very good point that I wanted (but didn’t actually dare) to raise a couple of pages back. I’ve noticed we seem to do this a lot. We’re just too nice for our own good I suppose. But really, I guess we try not to hurt other people’s feelings?
I get the feeling that we’re so used to being attacked for liking SF that our automatic reflex is to make it perfectly clear that our opinions on SF/CS/Whatever are PERSONAL opinions and not meant as attacks on any of the other ships/shippers. Let’s be honest here, there is a lot of hate and mud slinging from every side (and not just between SF and CS, really really not just between these two), but each side is far more likely to see themselves as the victims, we are all simply in too deep to know if that perspective is true or not. So when we make our opinion known we feel the need to make a disclaimer of sorts to try and lessen the tensions, to remind everyone that our opinions are our own , we have a right to them, and that right doesn’t necessarily mean that anyone else is wrong. When we say that we’re trying to protect ourselves when someone comes back and throws our statements in our face, because at least then we can say “But I said it was my opinion, I didn’t say it was fact.”
Do I agree with this mentality? No, not really, but I am definitely guilty of feeling the need to defend my opinions from other ships, but I don’t like being attacked any more than anyone else does. I was bullied a lot in school, and it sort of ingrains this flight complex where I want to state my mind, but I’m also afraid of the outcome when other people disagree, especially if the get super offended at what I’ve said and want to pick a fight.

Also, spoiler wise: I think it’s a flashback to merged Rumple/Neal. We know Abigale is coming now, but the spoiler makes it sound like the “surprise” visit is in the next 2 eps, and for some reason I feel like Abigale will come back in the finale with all the timeline changes (if that’s how things go).

It’s a Catch-22. However if we get MO322 then I think NEALWHALE ACTIVATE should stick around cause clearly NEALWHALE is just that awesome.
