And just think, if the death had never happened there would be no NEALWHALE ACTIVATE or #HopeForRogueBison, as I probably would still be lurking, and who would need bison (but we would still have Nealfire… so we probably got the lesser end of the trade here)?

Maybe you could count the times he was as good as dead, sacrificed himself and could have died, or was left for dead?
EDIT: Maybe count how he is now “dead” to the characters?

If they do bring him back by the end of the season (or at any point really), I think he should always be referred to as “Neal Cassidy: Man of 1,000 Deaths”.

I also thought Snow’s conclusion that it was HER mother’s fault for everything that happened to Cora to be rather stupid. Of course Snow would interpret events that way, instead of Cora being the blame for Zelena’s life. A few people on Tumblr made really good points about it that are better than anything I could put together, but I don’t have them saved at the moment. Regardless, the flashbacks felt like a waste of time. I want to know more about the Missing Year. I thought that was supposed to be important this season. I guess not…

I feel like he either did something he is ashamed of, or he knows he did something wrong and actually has remorse for it. So far it doesn’t seem like he’s actively trying to STOP anyone from figuring out what happened during the missing year, he’s just not telling people what he knows, or the whole truth from what he does know. I don’t think Hook did everything, but I think he played a part, either by letting something happen, or withholding important information. The whole thing is weird right now and I’m not quite certain how it’s all going to play out.

Or perhaps show the characters trying to find the door and it not being there anymore. No point in a door being gone if no one notices.
