I hope not. I really really hope not. Would it be a shocking and devastating turn of events? Yes. Would it send a message that not everyone gets their happy ending, even if they deserve one? Yes. But it would also be crossing the line to a really dark kind of storytelling that seems far removed from a “family show”. If Neal were the most beloved character in the show I would actually think it a bigger possibility because of it’s emotional impact on the audience, but since he’s not I really don’t know. On one hand I’m cautiously intrigued by the idea, but the other 90% of my is flailing madly in a panic for just thinking about it.

I saw that on Tumblr too. I’m loath to admit it, but if we’re talking story motivated it’s the only way I can see the death being Neal. It would also help explain Caged-Rumple having reverted back to crazy Dark One mode, as if he went nuts after the trauma of having to kill his own son. I also make jewelry! I’m more into working with chain and beads, and occasionally I put stuff up for sale at heartplacedesign.etsy.com. I haven’t made anything new in awhile, so it’s mostly all older stuff in there right now.
Other than that I’m a trained costumer and milliner, so I sew and make hats. Probably half of what I watch OUAT for is just to stare and all the pretty costumes and try to figure out how they were made. There are so many costumes from the show I would love to recreate, but sadly I don’t have the time or money to do so.
Me? Jewelry designer here. My passion for rings and pendants and bracelets made of silver flatwear with wireworks accents is my current obsession.

Not that I’m complaining (because he looks gorgeous), but all the main characters in the EF got a change of clothes by the time they started being nomads, except Neal. Wonder if the magical “Clothes Horse” from Wonderland wandered through. 😉

Am I only one who would want them to go original? I love Disney and all but it’s starting to feel like Once Upon a Disney. There are fairy tales and legends from all over the world without having to pull out what is newest and shiniest at the moment. It’s not surprising that ONCE is doing Oz with other big networks set to begin production on Oz dramas.
I think the problem with using Disney’s Frozen in OUaT is because it’s both pretty much an original piece of fiction with only a loose relation to The Snow Queen and because it’s so NEW. The thing with other using some of the other Disney properties that varied so far from their source material is that most of those have been out for a long time. The Little Mermaid for example is very different from the original (though still much closer than Frozen and The Snow Queen), but most people these days seem to accept that at face value as the actual story because a lot of us grew up with it. Frozen is TOO NEW. While the movie was a hit in theatres over the holidays that still doesn’t mean that everyone who watches OUaT will know who those characters are, or have the same attachment to them as a multiple generations of children and adults have to Ariel. Give Frozen at least a few years, get it playing repetitively on basic cable channels on weekends for while, and then maybe I can start to see it.
I don’t know. I liked the movie, but I just feels like such a massive departure to me if they were to try and shovel Elsa and Anna into the show. I think it’s always worked best when they’ve stuck to the classic tales and characters, but I’m okay if I’m the only one who thinks so.

sidenote: I wonder if Neal will be able to see his family from the crystal ball to see how they are doing okay or will that be to painful for him. I wonder if that crystal ball even will come back to play, because Snow and Charming can use it to catch glimpse of Emma and Henry from time to time.

I’ve been trying to catch up with all the wonderful pages of stuff from the last week, so I may have missed someone with the same theory, but I started to think this morning that maybe events in 3×12 may happen like this: Hook stalks/harasses Emma until she gets him arrested. While he’s being arrested he tells her to go to Neal’s apartment because there’s something there that will show he’s telling the truth (ie. the dream catcher). Emma can’t squash her curiosity so she goes, has a moment with the dream catcher and this room filled with Neal (who knows, maybe he has other stuff of her’s there). She doesn’t remember everything, but it’s enough to make her go back to the station and have Hook released and makes her receptive enough to listen to what he has to say.
It’s just a theory (one built on what we’ve already seen in spoilers), though IIRC it looked like Hook gets arrested in the same place that he and Emma are seen hugging, so I might be completely off track on this. Who knows!

Oh hay, there they are (thanks screen cap on page 11! Should have looked there first!)! Belle and Granny should watch out where they step. Poor Archie might be trapped under Belle’s big skirt. Maybe after all his years as a real person again maybe Archie should ask for his body back (unless he really likes being a cricket).

So what happened to Tink and the BF, Dr Hopper must be a cricket because we don’t see him but we should see Tink and BF flying around.
Were Tink and BF at the town border? I don’t recall seeing them. I thought Tink stayed behind with BF at the church after the boys received the Black Fairy wand. I might not have been paying enough attention to the scenery though… Where they are now is a good question though.
