LOL. On my second rewatch I noticed that during the scene right after Rumple’s sacrifice and before Regina tells them all what the price is to cast the counter curse, there is a car driving down the road. Just a random car, casually driving along like it’s an ordinary Sunday afternoon. Part of me hopes the driver saw all the heroes gathered together and just was like “OH GOD. WHAT NOW!?”
Kind of backs up Happy’s point from 3×07. When Snowing et al are gone everything is awesome. Moment they come back to town, BAM! Disaster, and we’re all going to die. As nice people as they are, being friends with them is seriously dangerous. It’s like there’s another curse on them that no one has ever figured out (and thus never broken). “May you live in interesting times.” You want your happy ending, move as far away from our heroes as physically possible. Maybe Bhutan?

textbookoneParticipantDoes anyone else wonder where the peasants are? Do they even know what is about to happen? Did someone tell them?
I’m surprised that there wasn’t a mass panic of peasants trying to rush the town borders trying to escape the big green cloud of smoke. Or at this point with all the stuff they’ve lived through, do you think they just bunker down in their storm cellars and wait for the end?
Also, random thought: it’s not entirely clear, but assuming that the SB gang reappears directly in front of Phillip and Aurora, what do you think their first reaction would be? Most of that group are strangers, but there would be the familiar faces (to Aurora) of Snow and Neal (whom she just saw maybe a week ago?), but the last time she saw Hook he was besties with Cora and had physically removed her heart and was using her as walkie-talkie for evil. If I were her I’d tell Phillip to stab the hell out of him.

The Wizard of Oz: Pay No AttentionIf Rumple turns out to be the Wizard of Oz, does that make Belle “Dorothy”. It would be a nice twist to the Wizard of Oz movie. Instead of wanting to go back to Kansas, Belle/Dorothy is trying to bring Rumple/Wizard of Oz back home to the Enchanted Forest/Storybrooke.
Since Adam and Eddie have said that we’re sticking to Storybrooke and EF for the rest of the season, do you think that’s a set up for season 4, or have they been misleading us? Granted, that’s only if this theory turns out to be true (and honestly I think it’s a damn brilliant way to blend OZ into the Once universe).

Actually it’s just a pain the…..
Please teach me your wisdom!
Also, UGH. Things people say that some back to haunt them. I really don’t want to have to start rewatching the show simply to keep tabs on every ominous thing every character has said. It would be like keeping a bingo card of the inevitable. 🙁

textbookoneParticipantGAH. So many feelings about this! I love the idea. Of course they take him in. He’s lost EVERYTHING at this point
Family sticks together. Together hope can be multiplied. Also, I don’t immediately think of Belle as someone Neal would immediately stick with because they honestly spent very little time together, and most of the time he was in Storybrooke before NL she was Lacey, but you never know.
Also, sorry for breaking all the spoiler tags. I can’t seem to get them to work in the quotes, even though I keep trying!

textbookoneParticipantI was thinking about a spoiler image from 3×12. Knowing what we do now about the curse, Neal returned to the Enchanted Forest with the Charmings. I was just thinking how distinguished Neal looks in this outfit, almost like a member of the gentry class. Do you think that Charming and Snow appoint him as nobleman? He probably inherited Rumple’s dark castle and fortune. His clothing appears expensive with the fine-woven cape and leather coat, gloves and suede pants. Also, Neal’s royal blue cape is almost suggests an elevation in his status from a peasant boy to a landed gentleman, perhaps even with a title!
My thought is that when they get to the EF Neal is technically alone. He’s lost his father, his son, and the woman he loves. But the Charmings are so full of love that they insist that he is family. Not sure how the curse (or breaking the curse) knows to put him in such swanky duds, but I really do think that the Charmings would want to keep family together, especially after losing Emma and Henry.

textbookoneParticipantHi everyone! I’m new! Been lurking for a few weeks actually, but have a hole in my heart after “Going Home” that I just had to come out of hiding and commiserate with other SFers. Please forgive me if I bring up things that have already been discussed. I’ve tried to catch up on the last dozen pages or so, but there’s just so much to talk about!
On something that Phee was saying a few pages ago, it’s my hope that over the last year Hook and Neal have come to at least some sort of understanding, if not actual friendship. So when they need someone to go find Emma and Henry Snowing wants to send Neal as the obvious choice, but that’s when it comes up that Emma believes Neal sent her to jail, and without her Storybrooke memories, she’d still believe that (and IIRC Snowing doesn’t know that fact, right?). Instead Neal sends Hook with his blessing, and gives Hook evidence to help Emma believe, ie, the location of his apartment where the dream catcher is. If he can’t be there with her, he can at least help Hook make her believe.
I also kind of hope that the minute everyone gets a handle on everything in the EF Neal is immediately off on some quest to try to get back to Emma and Henry (or is off on a quest with Belle to find Rumple, if they get a clue from somewhere that he’s not actually dead).
Also, I really really wish that before E&H had driven off across the town line Neal had gone over to the bug and at least touched it or something. Like a moment of remembrance of what it meant and everything that was being lost at that moment. Though if that had happened I probably would have sobbed.
