I will respond to everything said above me but had to post this. I would like to say things that are un-sayable.
I’m sorry, what? Why the —- would he say that? And I don’t mean a legit “I am indeed pondering what significance Adam’s hashtag usage has to my interest in this television program”. You killed #Swanfire 6 months ago and then danced in it’s grave with your stupid photo tweet of being strangled by a guard. Don’t you DARE give us #Swanfire like you think it will give us #Hope, or any interest in watching your big budget network trainwreck for anything more then morbid curiosity. Take your #Swanfire and shove it in places I can’t say here in polite company.

textbookoneParticipant#Nope
Nope in what?, that was not one of the 3 options
#Nope I refuse to acknowledge any and all feelings I might be having because it only leads to unspeakable horror and despair.
If you acknowledge your feelings the emus will get you…
…. and then you’ll have to barricade yourself in your home behind a wall of clowns…

textbookoneParticipant@textbookone here, take these cookies. I was reading over some of your….tumblr’ings(?) I give treats
Oh dear… I can only imagine what you found there (snark, snark, anger and snark perhaps?)… Yay cookies!
I feel like my new code name could be “The Cookie Snarker”.

textbookoneParticipant@Slurpeez, I agree with everything in your post. You always find the best links/articles! Also, I expanded on one of posts from yesterday and stuck it up on Tumblr. There’s swearing, so I’ll just link it here. My favourite part though:
I bet if they ate Alphagetti and they saw “Neal” in their soup they would throw the whole bowl out their 20th floor window and start an angry petition to Heinz about how no one likes those letters, they were created by Satan and how dare they!
LOL text I cracked up at that one as well.
See, snark is my regular setting. Not sure why anyone even had to ask if I wanted to mock things. I think it would be harder if people told me NOT to mock.

textbookoneParticipantGood post from last October. Oh, if only we got to see this talked about, but alas:
Thoughts on Tallahassee, the place in Once Upon a Time, and the episode
When I think about Neal leaving Emma behind, I find that I have made peace with that, with why he did it. But I find that now, after all this reflection upon that time in their story what really kills me is what comes next. The fact that after receiving the keys to the Bug, Emma clearly takes that as some sort of signal between the two of them. So much so that she travels to Tallahassee and proceeds to live there for two years. That’s two years of waiting, of expecting—and, I think, of searching for Neal.
I don’t see that as the sign of a person who thinks they’ve been truly abandoned. I see that as the sign of a woman who believes in her partner. Believes that he will come for her, that circumstances were extenuating, and that him sending those keys meant more than a cherry on the top of a kiss-off.
But, even as much as Emma doing that presses all my agony-of-love buttons, the fact that Neal doesn’t also go to Tallahassee (or try to re-connect with her in another way pre or post-Curse) is what really makes me hide my tears in a nearby pillow. That’s a man that you can say doesn’t care, or you can say is still under the sway of August’s threat/words. But I say: that’s a man who has so little faith in anyone’s love for him that it probably never occurred to him that she would do that, that she would go there—that she would be looking for him, or wanting him.
That’s a man who really thinks his love is better off without him, and will not suffer very long at his loss.
He should never have done that.
He should never have sent the money (which never got there) or the car keys. It made the hurt worse. It gave Emma hope, that they would again be together. Hope was what sent her to Tallahassee. For two more years (on top of her sentence) it kept her further from being able to move past Neal.
I want her to tell him this. I want him to hear that she spent two years of her life in Tallahassee. I want him to learn that she had that much faith in him, that much belief and understanding in her partner: that he would not simply turn her over to the police for no reason. That he would not casually abandon her.
Because, you see: Emma was right. Neal didn’t leave her on a whim, he didn’t leave her for nothing. He didn’t abandon her merely to take the fall for his crime.
And she knew he wouldn’t.
That’s not being a doormat; having faith in your partner. That’s knowing another person intimately, understanding what motivates them and seeing into their heart.
Emma was right.

textbookoneParticipantWelcome to the dark side Text with Rainbow and I
You say that like I wasn’t already mocking things. I’m not a nicer person than I thought I was, am I? Oh dear… must try harder at being horrible and bitter.
LIKE AN EMU
Those cursed emu! They cause so much global warming! And poorly written fanfiction! The emus are the cause of that too!

textbookoneParticipantAnytime is good, really.
I require mockable material then (not that everything that we’ve had so far isn’t incredibly mockable to being with). I’m trying to stick to my guns this year and not watch the show (I failed at that after 315 like I promised myself) and I have managed to avoid probably 90% of spoilers and articles this summer, so I’ve only seen things posted here or at the Ranch. Hopefully school will keep me too busy to really care about what’s going on in Stupidville.
Also, the only reason I’d want Neal to ever come back in the show now is just to spite all those people who can’t just let things go and have to be hurtful and hateful in comments on every single article where Neal is mentioned. Those people who seem to have a homing device for every time “Neal” or “MRJ” is mentioned, even if it has nothing to do with Once. Those same people who call us “haters” but apparently don’t own a single mirror. I want Neal to come back just so I can sit back and watch them flip their lids. I want to see them try to fathom what to do in their insecure little worlds. So bring back Neal! I need some beautiful, train wreck entertainment on Sundays without having to watch the actual show.
