Hello and welcome! 😀
[adrotate group="5"]the fairestParticipantI knew it. Cora was the heartbreaker in this situation. I remember reading a review that said the alleged “heartbreaking scene” between Rumpel and Cora will harken back to Rumpel’s words to Belle in Skin Deep. “No one can ever love me!” I think Cora winds up breaking Rumpel’s heart by the end of the episode.

You know the person I feel most sorry for is Henry Sr. He was such a handsome and kind prince but he was used all his life by his father, wife, and daughter. And ultimately his own daughter killed him. Also I think why Regina wasn’t all spoiled and selfish when she was younger was maybe because of Henry Sr.’s influence or what little influence he had over Cora. He still retained his kindness even when he was older. I can only imagine what marriage with Cora is like, it reduced him from a tall proud man to a small timid one.
Such tragedy. The man deserved better.
This. Prince Henry seemed like a true gentleman and would have made an amazing husband and father. But thanks to Cora’s deal with Rumpel, he was doomed to be married to that wicked old witch for the rest of his life. Seriously, can someone just drop a house on her already and be done with it?
the fairestParticipant*Smacks Adam and Eddie upside the head* Really guys? Really? Soulmates? You couldn’t come up with a better term to describe Rumpel and Cora’s relationship?
Ugh, like others have said, Rumpel and Cora are clearly not soulmates, nor are they true love. It was just a fling that in the end, resulted in them wanting to kill each other. So what dos that tell you about their relationship?

I love that it wasn’t him pouring out his heart about his undying love for her but instead, “let me tell you who you are.” He hardly mentions himself, and when he does it’s acknowledging that he’s made lots of mistakes and isn’t “good” like she is. I don’t think Rumple will stop being surprised that Belle fell in love with him or that after such a long life, he has a true love.
I can’t stop commenting about this sneak peak.Yes, he was being very selfless in that clip. Even though he was dying, he took the time to remind her just how amazing she was. I loved that.
the fairestParticipantUgh, watching that clip immediately after watching the one with Belle and Rumpel was a bad idea. Rumpel what are doing? Get your lips off her face!
In regard to the clip with Snow, Charming and the rest of the gang, I understand where Snow is coming from. Cora has done so much to destroy her family and she has every right to defend herself. But she should at least consider Charming’s warning. Killing out of a revenge never ends well.
the fairestParticipantJane Espesnon’s writing skills knows no bounds. That clip was amazing. I love that Gold listed out all of Belle’s accomplishments and positive attributes. And I love how he kept saying that she made him want to be a better man. So beautiful. 😥
the fairestParticipantOh my word. Belle, is that you? 😯 I guess those spoilers about “Racy Lacey” weren’t lying.
Poor Mr. Gold is going to have a heart attack when he sees her.
So sad, so true. 😆
the fairestParticipantTragic? TRAGIC! NO. No more tragedy for Rumbelle. I’m ready for them to get their happy ending now. 😥
the fairestParticipantOk, now I think the writers are on a mission to make the audience hate Cora. First they have her abuse Regina, kill her true love, kill Johanna, kill Queen Eva and go after the dagger. And now they’ve paired her off with Rumpel. I swear, my hatred for that woman knows no bounds.
I’m trying to stay optimistic though. Whatever little affair Rumpel and Cora had going on back in the day, it doesn’t compare to the love that he has for Belle. She is his true love, now and forever. End of story. Besides, Rumpel and Cora clearly hate each other now. So, their past affair won’t be interferring with Rumpel’s relationship with Belle anytime soon.
