ParticipantMy favorite moments were the scenes between Ruby and Belle and Mr. Gold agreeing to help Henry free of charge. I thought that was sweet. I also loved seeing Charming punch the living crap out of King George. ๐

ParticipantAww, I noticed that too. I loved seeing Mr. Gold be so tender with Henry. He probably saw a little bit of Baelfire in him. Brave, noble, smart, ect. ๐

ParticipantI’m not too keen on accepting little nods to beloved fairytales as actual evidence. There have been a ton of nods to the Wizard of Oz throughout the first and second season, but they all amounted to nothing. There were Oz nods connected to August with the green phone, Regina with her saying “I don’t care if my skin turns green,” and Rumpel asking for the ruby slippers in The Doctor. I just think they’re all nods, and the same goes for the Neverland nods that have been surrounding Neal. A lot of people were swearing up and down that August was Oz, but of course, like we predicted, he turned out to be Pinocchio. I think it’ll be the same with Neal. But we’ll have to wait and see I guess. ๐

If most people think Neal is Baelfire, then he’s probably Baelfire. Most of the mysteries on this show have been pretty to easy solve. August being Pinocchio, Cora being the miller’s daughter, Cora being the Queen of Hearts (even though that hasn’t been confirmed, it’s pretty much implied). So, the mysteries on this show aren’t that hard to figure out. The only twist that took the fandom by surprise was Red being the Big Bad Wolf. But other than that, we’ve been able to correctly predict the identities of the characters.
I agree with this. The fandom has correctly been able to call each characterโs identity since the show began. And the only reason why Red being the big bad wolf came as a surprise was because we didnโt have months to speculate over it like we have for Baelfire, August, Dr. Whale and Cora. So yes, if the fandom says Neal is Baelfire, then heโs probably Baelfire. ๐
