ParticipantI thought it would be cute if Belle tells Gold that she didn’t kiss him when they reunited because she loves him for who he is and doesn’t need him to change.

ParticipantIt’s the way that he said that makes me believe otherwise. As for if August was actually Bae, I wonder if he still would have dropped the vial into the well.

ParticipantSo, I’m a little dumbfounded at Rumpel’s response to Belle concerning him brining magic into our world.
I TRULY believed that he realized the price of magic after telling people copious amounts of times it’s consequences, him losing his son, and Belle. Like… part of me wants to believe that it’s for a good intention, like breaking a bigger curse, or stopping something WORSE from happening, but the way he says “magic is power” maliciously, makes me think otherwise.
I don’t know…. I wonder what would have happened if August really was Bae in “The Return”.
Thoughts?

ParticipantI’m sure a lot of Rumbelle fans are hoping the Belle and Rumpelstilskin’s true love creates something too. haha 😆
I like this theory though… I know that the talk was that they would focus more on Emma’s “romantic” relationship with her mother and romantic interest this season, which makes me believe there is more breaking to the “curse”, but I would like to know how they are going to incorporate Rumpel’s love for first-borns.

ParticipantPart of me wants the Lion King, but then I wonder how they could incorporate that into the show and I find myself laughing out loud.

ParticipantHe did appear unsettled in the season finale …. I’m not sure what type of fairy tale character he may be and how that will have an impact on some of our main characters, but that’s what makes this show so appealing.
I had a theory once that he may be Zobo’s (the other dark ones) son who is out to seek Gold for revenge.

ParticipantWell, with season 1 ending with Snow and Charming about to take back the kingdom, I expect that that’s where season 2 will pick up.
Regina obviously lost her influence or power during the battle, so I would like to see how that has happened and how perhaps it can be applied in Storybrooke.
It would also be a nice little twist if they started to add flash-fowards… I for one would like to see Emma in fairytale land.

ParticipantHmm.. here are just a list of my theories…
1. Bae will be introduced as an adult in the next season as either the father of Henry, one of Emma’s love interests, or both.
2.Either in this season or the following seasons will have the season finale with a cliff hanger as either Emma having to “seal” the deal with Rumpelstilskin and becoming the new Dark One, or Regina getting her hands on Rumpelstilskins dagger.
3. Rumpelstilskin will sacrifice himself for either Bae or Belle before the series finale, and Regina will redeem herself before the end of the series by helping fight for “good.”
4.There is an even bigger evil besides Regina or Rumpel that controls “all the worlds” that the cast will have to go up against in future seasons.
5. Emma will die as “the savior” in order to “truly” break the curse.
6. The Queen of Hearts is Cora
7.Instead of flash-backs in fairytale world, there will now be flash-forwards
8. There will be a love triangle involving Emma. (let the ship wars begin! lol)

ParticipantSo I think one of the callers (Belle) brought up an interesting idea/thought from last week’s podcast.
The issue that I am addressing is the fact that Rumpelstilskin may have had Regina carry out the curse because Rumpel would be unable to kill the thing that he loves the most.
Now, I think this can play out in various ways and open many doors when it comes to plot.
I unfortunately don’t see Rumpelstilskin making it to the end of the series due to the emphasis on having to kill the dark one with a dagger in episode 1.08, and I truly believe that if it ever came to the point where Rumple had to die for either Belle or Bae, that he would gladly do so.
But why bring this up? Well, I think that if these two figures ever came in harms way that Rumpel would choose them over his power, and I think this is a card the Regina knows that she has. I think the the potluck in this game has went up a bit now that magic is being introduced into the story again, and I could see Emma’s favor either being Emma killing him (before Regina does) or something as equally dramatic.
Sacrifice is a consistent and major theme of this show….
Thoughts, speculations, theories? 🙂
