I was reading tweets a few nights ago and a bunch of cast members were passing jokes back and forth with Michael Raymond James (Neal) about him being a bowl of soup (I won’t explain, it isn’t a clean reference). Guess who was left out of it all? Colin O’Donoghue. Robert Carlyle was even included in on the joke. Colin was nowhere. So you might be on to something because it says he wasn’t there.
Yes his being left out of the chain was really obvious. I saw that too. You’re right. They’re leaving the door open for all kinds of questions about where Colin O’Donoghue has been. It’s making me really uncomfortable.
Robert Carlyle hasn’t been seen filming either but at least he was in on that joke in twitterverse. Colin O’Donoghue is great as Hook but if he’s going to play the part, if it’s just in the past or in flash backs, it’s no good for me.
The meat of the question is this: Where is Colin O’Donoghue?
[adrotate group="5"]thebeeParticipantHook loved Milah, but his *true* love? Maybe. She’s gone though, and who’s to say Emma (or someone else) can’t be a new *true* love for Hook? For his story to be all about being stuck on Milah, getting revenge, and all of the miserable, dark and depressing events surrounding it all, there’d be no depth to the story if he can’t get over Milah and his quest for revenge. That’s just too shallow, too limited, and just throws every chance for more and better stuff in the trash. It’d be like a story that nobody finished writing. The show has better writers than that. They write for ABC for a reason. Because they’re good! I have more faith in them, than to think they’d make that mistake.
thebeeParticipantWhat if the town’s laws create a new punishment for the really bad guys? A magical lobotomy? Instead of being put in jail (or executed), they have to step over the line and get their memory wiped?
thebeeParticipantNot that I disagree with you OW, because I don’t, but why didn’t you lead off with that? . That little tweet said a thousand words more than the ping-pong match I’m reading.
thebeeParticipantI love Captain Hook. He’s my favorite character. Unfortunately though, because of several reasons, I don’t think they’re lining him up to be Peter Pan. I think they might be lining him up to be Emma's opposite. Think about it. She's the savior, so who will that make him. I think they're lining him up to be the devil. I hope I'm wrong, I wouldn't like that, at all.
thebeeParticipantWetpaint.com was talking about a woman who’s going to play Snow White’s mom. I bet she’s the queen they’re talking about.

Don’t know what happened to your post, but, I know who Bill the Cat is.
Don’t see the resemblence to Neal, though…lol.
The fact that Emma/Hook is popular is probably because all the fangirls love Hook because he’s ‘pretty‘.
I think his character is a shallow womanizer with a ‘God’s gift to woman’ attitude.
Players like him are a dime a dozen and I would hope Emma would be smart enough to see through his ‘I’ll flirt with you, make you giggle like a schoolgirl and make you feel beautiful as long as it gets me what I want’ act.
He flirted with Emma, but he also flirted with Snow and Cora – who’s old enough to be his mother, for gods’ sakes!
Anyway, I tend to keep my mouth shut, so as not to offend any Hook/Emma fans, but, I figure I’m just as entitled to my opinion, especially since, no matter what topic I go in, they all seem to be about Hook.
To me, OUAT has more depth than who is dating who. It’s not a soap opera, or a show like ‘Pretty Little Liars’, etc. (which I don’t watch)
The inclusion of classic liturature & film, Mythology, LOST nods, Stephen King nods, the significance of names (Neal Cassady, imparticular)………brilliant.
K&H are brilliant. I’ve loved them since their days on LOST.The reason people talk about one character more than another, is because it’s what people want to talk about. If that makes you uncomfortable, it’s not anybody’s fault. As for whether Hook is a womanizer: That is a matter up for debate but if you don’t want people talking too much about Hook, then don’t goad that conversation onward. Case in point: That Wetpaint.com poll somebody mentioned shows a preference toward Hook at over 50%, versus Neal at just below 10%. There is a reason why.
Of course he was flirting with the women. He isn’t dating any of them (at least, not yet). There are some people who have taken to an idea that men are evil, if they act like men. That really bothers me.

And just a reminder that there is 16 days until the next ep!!! So excited!
Oh, he’s so cuuuute! 😀
thebeeParticipantWhen Neal got that postcard, why didn’t he immediately look up Emma? Also, why will he run from her? It just occurred to me: During the time of his seperation from Emma, what if Neal got married? What if he’s afraid he’ll loose his wife, and maybe kids if he connects with Emma again?
thebeeParticipantI just looked back, and checked. They’re still at 50% out of 9 choices. That is really great to see! 😀
