Yeah, I don’t think we’re going to seeing a truly evil Belle in season 2 either. It would go against everything she believes in. I do, however, think that she will be heavily influenced by the terrible experiences she’s been subjected to. Being locked up in a prison for 28 years and then being reunited with her true love, who is the Dark One after all, will make Belle a little darker than her usual self.

I know! That was my favorite part too! It was as if he had scene a ghost. But I guess in his case, he kind of was. He honestly believed that Belle had been dead for the past 30 years. Poor thing probably really did think he was staring at a ghost. 😥

I knew she would be darker. KNEW. How could she not be? She’s experienced far too much trauma in her life to still be the same sweet princess that we saw back in Fairytale land.
I’m also pretty pumped about all the great directions her character development could go in. I knew the writers were going to do something awesome with her character. I never lost faith. 😀
