If Hades is set to make his appearance right away in the season 5b mid season premiere, why have no photos surfaced of him on set in costume? Or did I miss something?

1. I guarantee they will go with because Hook “died” his whole neck wound thing is gonzo. Which is ehh. But whatever.
2. I think it is perfectly reasonable to say that Emma can take her own heart. Why would the power of true love and the savior, which prevents others from taking her heart also prevent her from taking it if she so desires? It should protect her from enemies who want to take her heart, but also shouldn’t restrict her from being able to take it herself.
But as far as the splitting hearts thing…I mean I was barely ok with it when Snowing did it, but gave the show a pass because they are the epitome of true love which helped enact the dark curse. If now anyone in love can just split their heart to save their significant other, well that’s pushing it, and even diminishes the original effect of snowing doing it back in season 3B.
Agreed. Also, Merida is tied into Arthur’s story now too. Like she needs to kill him to avenge her father. Or…have her somehow break the sand thing on Guinevere…and then Guinevere kills him. If we just get Merida with no Arthur or Guinevere, then I don’t really want Merida.
The stuff they filmed for 5×11 that was cut was Merida taking Arthur back in handcuffs (and Guinevere going along, presumably no longer mind raped). But now…who knows.
Uhh they better address how Guinevere is no longer mind raped. Like just show us! Deleted scene or not, they have to show us some kind of closure. You can’t spend that much time in Camelot and make such a big deal out of Guinevere basically not being able to think for herself, and then just have Arthur get arrested off screen and not tell us or show us Guinevere’s reaction when she realizes what Arthur did…
Characters have gone off to forgotten character island before….and I get it. It happens. But at least with like Maleficent and Lilly, they showed them trying to reunite and catch up on lost time. Maleficent’s happy ending was finding her daughter. So that was resolved. Now the plot revolving around Lilly possessing all the darkness and what not was lost and will likely remain that way, but at least I can forgive the writers for not following up with Maleficent and Lilly. Barely. But honestly, having an entire arc heavily based on Arthur and Guinevere’s actions and then not even showing us them in the midseason finale of said arc, is unforgivable.
That’s all well and good but the real question needs to be if Arthur and Guinevere are coming back. Merida’s one thing but the seasonal mini-villain and his mind raped wife are a little bit more important at the moment.

Yeah sorry guys…just seemed like a ton of negativity from a show we all love. I know there were some disappointments but these writers aren’t gonna please everyone right? Just wanted to input some positive things I thought the show was doing and was hoping for healthy banter. I hope no one took offense to anything I said and I wasn’t trying to attack anybody. Here’s what I hope they address in season 5b:
– They absolutely need to wrap up the camelot characters. No brainer here.
– After what they promised, they have to give us Mulan and Ruby, and lots of it to make it seem genuine and real.
– Please make it so these villains in the underworld actually have a purpose and aren’t just there because they could get them for the 100th episode.
– I’d love to see Mulan’s story somehow tie in to the dragon from season 2. But I doubt that will happen.
– Start setting up the end game. They say they have an end in mind, let’s start laying the foundation here. I anticipate one more season and that’s it.
– Please let Hades be super cool and not as lame as let’s say, Hook’s father.
– Maybe address Malificient and Lily…like are they really just going to pretend they aren’t there anymore?
– Name the dang baby already!
– Henry needs to be important and do more things than just have a crush.
– Emma vs. Rumple. Rumple in my mind has always been the best villain and the driving force behind the evil on this show. I feel like they have set up this battle for awhile now. Let’s see this develop now that Rumple is dark once again.
Yeah I think there is a big difference between moving forward, but still obviously not being able to let go of losing your first child, and having another child, thinking that can replace what happened to Neal. I don’t think the writers would do that. I think it is however very realistic to think that Rumple could use this next child as redemption, to remind himself of Neal and to be able to move forward knowing he can give this new child everything he failed to give to Neal. He can have another child and still honor Neal, if the writers don’t screw it up.
I wonder sometimes if you just can’t let go of Baelfire dying on the show…..Neil is gone. Rumple needs to move on, and if another child reminds him of what he did to his first son, and helps him become a better father and person now, I think that’s a realistic way to end his arc.
I think u mean move forward, not sure if u are a parent, but i saw a article about a father of some girl that died in some shooting in a university( in USA) and i think some of the parents in this thread can confirm that more than me, since im no parent, but he said that people used to say that he had to move on, bc he had other kids, and his quote was, that people are wrong when say move on, people should say move forward, bc you can`t ever move on from your kid death, u can continue to live, so u can move forward with your live, BUT never move on, because in reality the dead of a kid will always create a hole that cant never be replaced, the problem is that OUAT doesnt deal with those things, and will probably show that Bae was not enough bc was not his son with Belle his TL, that with that kid that hole is replace, lik Bae never existed. I will not mention the other thing u said, about Baelfire, with respect to all the rest of the people on this forum, OH and by the way , is not Neil , is NEAL.
My apologies on the spelling there. I will say that IF Belle is pregnant, and IF Rumple is redeemed through this baby, and IF Rumple simply redeems himself without any mention of needing to move “forward” from Baelfire to become a better person and to finally rid himself of his power lust and finally see the love that has been in front of him the whole time in Belle, then I will be very angry. Bae obviously should have been enough. But clearly it wasn’t. His lust for power is still the most important thing in his life. That’s what makes him such a compelling villain in my opinion. He has the ability to let it go, but he just can’t. And to a point that interesting. And let’s be honest, Robert Carlyle being evil is just fantastic. It’s just a shame they wasted our time with a “make Rumple a hero” arc only to revert back to where we started.Oh sure. I’ll play along. 1) Rumple was just JKing and he isn’t really the Dark One! (Or alternatively: he channels all the Dark One’s powers into doing good, without going Super Duper Villain) 2) Belle is *not* pregnant 3) The Ghosts of the Past do more than just bemoan their fate. They actually have a purpose outside of “look who we can bring back!” 4) The writers don’t massively screw up Greek mythology (plz don’t mess with my happy place) 5) Baby GreenHood gets a name! (Pistachio Mills-Hood) 6) Emma saves Hook because of heroism but decides that their relationship is toxic and bad for both of them. Emma also seriously confronts Hook about the things he said/did while the Dark One and does not, under any circumstance, wave away his words and deeds because “darkness” 7) Arthur gets stabbed through the eye by Guinevere who then proceeds to un-rape-dust Camelot and then throws Arthur in a jail cell for all of time. 8) Merida goes back home where she bans any and all forms of bagpipes 9) Ruby and Mulan kiss for no less than 5 mins on screen while the camera literally just stays on them. At the end, they look the camera dead in the eye and start singing “Born This Way” Because why not. 10) Rumple and Emma and Henry *talk* about Neal and their collective grief
Still can’t get over Neil…..Swanfire is over guys. Hook was controlled by the darkness. The darkness took Hook’s worst traits, no matter how buried, and brought them to fruition. He asked Emma not to turn him. he knew how the darkness would take over and how he couldn’t fight it like Emma could. It doesn’t mean their relationship is toxic. I’m sure if both Emma and Neil became darkones, it would have been just as messy. You just can’t get off the swanfire ship and thus hate Hook. He really has never done anything wrong that I can think of that makes him a bad boyfriend to Emma, except doing the awful things the darkness made him do. If anything, Hook has allowed Emma to move on from Neil in a positive way. Stop hating girl! The writers aren’t writing off this ship anytime soon.
