ParticipantThere’s no way for something to not feel unresolved with that.
Very true. But if they introduce an adult Henry let’s say, it won’t feel like a completely new character so I’ll feel better about it as long as the other characters get some sort of resolution.

Participant(which is what A and E should have said at the beginning of six to avoid this whole stupid situation)!
Amen. If this finale feels at all like there isn’t some sort of definitive conclusion, I’m going to be so mad.

ParticipantI think that Jennifer’s interview sounds very similar to the guy that played Will Scarlet where she felt disconnected from her life and that she needs something challenging and engaging creatively which means to me she wasn’t finding that on OUAT. She also talks about OUAT in a very superficial way and has done so for seasons except right before the dark one arc where she talked about her research for that arc on substance abuse and that ended up going nowhere.
I agree she clearly wants to move on to do different things but I haven’t seen anything where what she says can come off as a slight to OUAT. If saying the character of Emma Swan is her favorite character she’s ever played and is very special to her and saying that she loves A&E’s writing and what they do to constantly reinvent the show is talking about the show in a “superficial way” than ok…….but I just don’t think it is. To compare her to the actor who played Will Scarlet, someone who was told he would be used and then was barely used on OUAT, seems silly to me.

ParticipantI think she’s trying to get rid of all the realms and destroy all the people in it. At least that’s what the promo said for the finale. But maybe she wants that so no one could jeopardize their family and it will be just them ruling the land.

ParticipantOverall, I enjoyed it. Loved seeing everyone together in the end. The one person that I felt was missing was August.

ParticipantI actually thought the lyrics were great. And after one watch, I actually liked Zelena’s song the most.

ParticipantI will have to rewatch this whole episode again but my first thought were that I liked them. I liked that Hook chose Henry to be the best man. That was a nice scene.

ParticipantOh man this is an episode I will have to rewatch many times. Some plot holes here and there but boy did I love this episode. Without delving into every little thing let me just say a couple things. The writers and the actors pulled it off. I actually enjoyed every song and thought the lyrics and acting were amazing. And although cheesy, the fact that Emma is protected bc of all the songs in everyone’s heart from the people who love her makes total sense from a Disney standpoint where all these characters used to sing on screen. Why Cora wasn’t able to pull out Emma’s heart at all and Black Fairy was but just wasn’t able to crush it is a little confusing, but whatever.
How about Blue actually being important after all! She is the reason (and Snow’s wish I suppose) that Emma is protected.
Loved Hook asking Henry to be his best man.
I liked that the actors commented on what was going on with the singing. It would have been bad if all of a sudden they were singing and they just went with it.
And again, I will rewatch it, but while I did love Lana Parilla in her songs, and loved Emma with hers at the end, Rebecca Mader’s stood out to me the most. I thought the lyrics were so good.
Overall: 9.5/10

ParticipantDelayed reaction, but Lana’s response to that question about Hook was rough.
What response? Did I miss something?
thedarkonedearie
ParticipantAt the very least, Emma is showing that she cares about baby Robin. So nonetheless, she’s showing she cares about someone other than Hook.
