ParticipantWow, I must seriously be in the minority because I think this looks so much like it could be Hook and Emma’s son. He looks just like a young Hook would look. The black hair…he looks a little edgy. I can’t picture that actor playing an adult Henry based on the two roles I’ve seen him in (the villain type character in The Walking Dead acting as a cannibal, and Damien, the bad shady guy from Dead of Summer). Now you’re telling me he’s going to play adult Henry? No friking way. It’s Hook’s son.

ParticipantSo are we to believe that this murder of charming’s dad will be strange or unorthodox? The writers could have picked a different episode title if they wanted so is there particular significance behind why they chose this one, other than the fact that it has the word murder in it? Am I giving the writers too much credit and delving deeper than they would? haha

ParticipantAlso still trying to figure out the Beowulf connection here…or was that for a different episode…wait this is from Hamlet right? I’ll boding patterns is Beowulf.

ParticipantThat’s exactly how I expect this to go. I mean, he was left in a cave for four seasons and never mentioned ever again.
Well if it is in fact King George, and he doesn’t get killed by the end of the episode, consider me in the disappointed camp. I likely will not care for the episode. But anything is possible!
thedarkonedearie
ParticipantYeah. I think you don’t bring back King George after four years and don’t make him Charming’s father’s murderer.
Which would be fine if King George stuck around. I want it to be the black fairy bc I know she will be central to the plot down the line. If King George killed Charming’s dad, and then he is just dealt with and everything is wrapped up in this episode and George never comes back, well that would be incredibly disappointing to me. Unless Charming or Hook kills him. But if they just let him out of his cage, to reveal the truth, and then just arrest him again, uhhh how dull.
thedarkonedearie
ParticipantKing George is in it…but like, I hope he didn’t do it.
thedarkonedearie
ParticipantUnless black fairy is posing as blue fairy in the episode. Although I don’t think Blue is in this either.
thedarkonedearie
ParticipantD we even know for sure that this is the episode we find out who killed Charming’s father? I know the name of the episode suggests a murder but perhaps it is something else. I really don’t think they would have Hook be the killer and it being the black fairy is just too easy. But if she isn’t in the episode…..that makes it tricky. Maybe his father is actually still alive?

Participant2) How did the enchanted wardrobe transport Emma, Regina, and Robin? Wasn’t season one about how the enchanted wardrobe really had enough magic for only two people? Now we’re supposed to believe it had enough for three people? I know it’s an AU, but sheesh!
Yup, this was my biggest issue with the episode overall. Was hoping someone on here had an explanation. Bc to me, that might be the biggest retcon I’ve ever seen. And I’m usually one to let many slip…but I mean come on, the wardrobe is like one of the most vital things in OUAT. It jump-started the show. To just say that it can now bring 3 people back is ridiculous.
