ParticipantMy bet is still on the black fairy. And Hook knows it is her.

Participant2) Wish Robin and Evil Queen leave together somewhere, so Outlaw Queen still lives on in some odd way, while also wrapping up the Evil Queen storyline of the Season.
Second that.

ParticipantI guess I didn’t feel liek August’s version got more weight. I think both are very powerful messages and it depends on the person. Some people have the ability in them since the beginning and just need the help from people who love you to bring it out. Some people may not have that kind of support or resources around them and need to reach down and change themselves to become the better person they can be. Both messages are important. For Emma, I think the young Emma version suits her character better. But for OUAT as a whole, I think both are important and relevant.

ParticipantMmmm. But the Quill itself if magical (and apparently contains a soul) and needs a special and specific person to wield it. The tree that turns into the wardrobe is magic but neither August nor the chisel are magical like Henry and the Quill. Even if August super believes in himself that still doesn’t change the fact that the chisel is just a chisel.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought August said the chisel was magical. He just didn’t believe he had it in him to wield it like his father did.

ParticipantOverall: 7/10
Liked:
– How Emma got her name. I thought the ugly duckling thing was quite clever and I’m glad it was August who helped her with it.
– Seeing the tavern where Regina first saw Robin with Tink.
– Gideon and Rumple dynamic
– Very happy that they didn’t spend more than this episode in the Wish Realm. I did not care for it at all.
– Hook was funny.
Mixed:
– Emma’s fight with Gideon. It actually looked pretty cool. But it was so fast and like…was that really it? Just believe you can change your fate and poof, you can? What about the shears of destiny? So Jafar’s plan is just null and void and pointless as long as the Savior believes they can change it?
– The damn clock tower. Can they pick something else please.
– I’m kind of annoyed that Gideon doesn’t actually seem like a bad person but if it leads to us seeing how manipulative and horrific black fairy is, then that’s fine by me. Just get her involved sooner rather than later. Clearly she filled his young mind with nonsense.
Disliked:
– I’m not sure I really disliked anything. Certain things irked me but nothing too bad.
– OH WAIT JUST KIDDING. How on Earth could they bring back Robin through the tree? Is this not some serious retconning or what?????? The wardrobe could only take two people back. I thought that was the deal right from the pilot of this show. Am I missing something here? Please tell me I’m missing something.
Why on earth does Gideon believe that if he kills Emma he can be a Savior? That’s now how this works at all.
I’m pretty sure Black Fairy told him that’s how it works. She probably wants the Savior dead.
Robin’s soul went into Wish Realm!Robin?? What is that nonsense?
I think this has to do with Charming’s wish of the EQ getting what she deserved. So the EQ turned into a snake, and Regina, who is part of the EQ, unfortunately gets Wish Realm Robin turning up in her life to cause grief. Or this is just all still leading to EQ getting what she deserves which actually is Legit Thief Wish Realm Robin. Maybe she deserves a happy ending too. But to me, the fact Robin didn’t age means that Charming’s wish has affected why Robin’s soul is in the Wish Realm.
The fat-shaming in this episode bothered me a lot. It’s practically a crime when directed against a woman, but it’s okay, even funny, when directed against a man? Especially when a beautiful woman such as Emma is making the comments?
Yup. Double standard much?

ParticipantYes that was quite good. I normally stay sway from sneak peaks but I couldn’t help myself. The Rumple-son dynamic is something this show was missing. It isn’t Baelfire, but it’s something. And they are both tied to the Black Fairy. I’m excited for everything in storybrooke and the dark realm. The wish realm…..I couldn’t literally care less.

ParticipantAnother Savior huh…..it has to be Henry.

ParticipantWhen this could possibly be the last season of the show or the last season of the show for many characters not named Regina. It is a massive problem. She can have all the screentime next season but this season should be balanced with people that may not be back next season.
Well now that this looks like the end, I fully expect the rest of the characters to start to take center stage as the season progresses. It may not have been the initial plan but now they have no choice.
thedarkonedearie
ParticipantAnd it looks like it’s actual present day Storybrooke Sidney, not FTL flashback Magic Mirror Sidney. Pretty sure we haven’t seen him since 4A.
Gotta bring em all back for the end. Storybrooke Sidney is always great to see. I hope he has a part to play down the stretch.

ParticipantHook on the other hand is hated by all the people from the fandom who do not ship CS
WRONG, I don’t ship CS but I’m fine with Hook.
People have had enough of Regina hogging up the screentime.
Well other than Robert Carlyle, Lana is the best actor on the show, and the plot this season is centered around her splitting herself and the EQ running rampant. It’s not her fault she plays with characters. People honestly should not have a problem with this.
