ParticipantThis is interesting. So no one got the finale title right. Assuming this is the finale. Weird that A&E didn’t write it. Anyone think this could mean Zelena and Hades. Or Regina and Robin? I just see no way that this is Henry and Violet. But I expected some sort of clue as to what they are doing going into next year (like the neverland themed episode titles at the end of season 2). This seems very relationship centric, and possibly a more heartfelt episode. Perhaps more character and detail instead of plot plot plot plot.

ParticipantI am now starting to think it’s not the brother’s grimm. What if it is two brothers we haven’t met yet? Or have even heard of? Possibly there own original characters? I just don’t know how they could get their audience excited with the brothers grimm story and I don’t see them doing the lion king. Geez, I really have no idea what’s in NYC and why Rumple is there.

ParticipantThe problem is that they have casted the dark curse three times now, and the previous two looked soooo easy.

ParticipantWhen she’s dead….I’m really starting to wonder if Regina herself will bite the dust in Season 6. Rumors are circulating on twitter that Robert Carlyle is sticking around for Season 6, but after that he’s retiring…still nothing but rumors, but if it’s true…whose to say they won’t take them out together? They claim she’s one of their favorites, well hell, if this is how Adam and Eddy treat their favorites, I’d hate to see how they treat their least favorite characters. Then again…there is small hope that this is not about OUAT.
But keep in mind, just because they kill a character, doesn’t mean they don’t love them. I mean there were some serious deaths at the end of Lost that were so brutal and heartfelt and tears everywhere……….I don’t think they have the balls to kill Regina, or any of the main cast aside from Rumple. So if they actually kill Regina in the show’s final moments, I may get up and applaud if it’s done well. Aside from Neal, they are wussies when it comes to killing off characters, never mind main characters.

ParticipantJust because Regina is good now, doesn’t mean she can’t kill anyone if it’s justified. I think it would be completely in character to realize that Zelena cannot be redeemed and that Roland and her friends are not safe with her around, and therefore kill her.

ParticipantEven if it’s not to have Regina turn back to being evil against the Charmings, but to set her against Zelena, how does that show any sort of honest character development?? Didn’t we do this already? Didn’t Regina contemplate ending Zelena back in 4B and decided she didn’t want to; hasn’t she had ample opportunity to kill Zelena and refrained because that’s not who she is anymore. And more to the point didn’t we have several (several!) seasons of seeing what happens to Regina when she loses the man she loves? The only difference here is that she’s not a stable princess, it’s not Snow White, and the man’s name isn’t Daniel.
If this is true, then I think it will have more to do with Zelena not being able to be redeemed, then Regina turning evil on her. I think for the sake of her child, and for the sake of her friends, if Zelena kills Robin, Regina may feel she has no choice but to kill her sister. It doesn’t mean Regina is going back to the dark side. It means Zelena cannot be saved and must die.

ParticipantI’m now longing for a flashback to Rumple’s previous time there. And maybe the moment when he was summoned back to the land of the living.
I’m hoping we get this in “devil’s due.” It’s rumple centric, Espenson wrote it, there’s obviously some tie with Hades because of the title. My guess is we’ll get Rumple playing stupid for one more episode, and then in the third one back, we’ll see what happened to him in the UW and what he may or may not know from that experience.

ParticipantIt sounds, to me, like the writers are, once again, guilty of lack of world building. They need to save money so they can’t really build an entire set, with heavy CGI, for the Underworld so they use their already built SB set and a red filter. And then they knew they needed a reason for it to look like SB
Yeah I’m sure this is true. However, they had to have known that they wouldn’t be able to an entire CGI UW right? So what I’m saying is, they must have planned on having Hades be the reason it looks like Storybrooke. They aren’t just doing that because fans complained and wanted a legitimate reason as to why they are almost identical. And to boot, I think there reason, if it is tied to the Dark Curse, is quite clever.

ParticipantMaybe, but they should not have Rumple say this line. He should have said something like “This is not important right now, what’s matter is…” or something that imply that he knows the reason. “Your questions are pointless” is insulting, it’s like I’m not being resprcted as a viewer and they just expect me to not think about it and just go with it. Some viewers are fine with it, I’m not.
Well perhaps Rumple doesn’t know the answer. Or he’s keeping it close to the chest. We don’t know yet. I don’t think it was a reflection of the writers not knowing the answer, I think it was Rumple not knowing, or more likely, not divulging.

ParticipantI wouldn’t be surprised if they have never planned for this and the only reason they will add an explanation is because fans started to ask them about it on twitter based on bts.
Crapping on the writers even when they haven’t done anything wrong….tisk. Hades possibly creating the Dark Curse resulting in why the UW looks like Storybrooke I think is clever, and they already hinted at this in the last episode. So I’m sure this was planned.
