Great question. Is Rumple even in town?? This episode takes place so soon after Manhattan that I was surprised Rumple, Emma, and hopefully Nealfire were in SB so quickly.
I think they are because Emma and Neal are on the scene, so I wonder where Mr. Gold is 😕
theeviloneParticipantWell she learned magic before marrying Henry Sr. at least that is what he told Regina. Yes Rumple did say that he would not love anything else but we are talking about a fling just a physical thing, you don’t need love for that. Even if Regina is not Rumple’s daughter, Cora probably did have a thing with Rumple because Regina did mention to Belle in The Outsider episode that she was sparing her the heartbreak because “others” had tried.
theeviloneParticipantIt was kinda strange seeing him flinch like that and seeing the fear in his face after Cora kissed him 😯 . She must really have something on him that would make him act like that. Back in FTL he even got Regina to do the dirty work and push Cora through the looking glass to get rid of her. She must be very powerful or very smart to know how to play him, and he knows it. Can’t wait for the Miller’s Daughter episode to see how all that went down. 😀
theeviloneParticipantShouldn’t he be able to know if she is his daughter or not? I mean he is The Dark One he knew that Emma would be returning in 28 years. Then again he completely didn’t know Belle was alive all this time. If anything I think he woukd know but he might have thought that he was doing Regina good by teaching her magic. I mean lets face it magic is his lady love and he probably thought he was teaching Regina a way to be stronger since he did find her in her desperate situation when he finally met her. If anything getting her to do the curse could have been killing two birds with one stone. Regina could inact the curse keeping her with him getting her to kill Henry Sr. and giving his opportunity to find his son.
theeviloneParticipantI don’t know how Call sheets work but it doesn’t even have Robert Carlyle on the actual scene, his number is 3 and I don’t see it there. Does that mean that Rumple won’t be in this fight for power? It seems he should be I mean it is his dagger right ❓
theeviloneParticipantIf what was implied on “In the name of brother” is true and Regina does turn out to be Rumple’s daughter. I do not know how I personally would feel about Rumple. I have thought about it and it would explain a lot of things such as why he would become so mean to Regina when she would claim Henry to be her son and not Emma’s. Maybe it just hit a nerve with him. You know considering that if this is true, Henry Sr. claiming Regina as his own when Rumple was the real father.

Rumple does have good in him but the child of the dark one could be really powerful, and Regina would be perfect for it so she could inact the curse.
Plus, think about what happened in the mid-season finally when Regina absorbed all the energy that Rumple himself claimed would kill anyone that came through the well. She didn’t die, could it be possible, if she is The Dark Ones daughter that she is immortal just like daddy? That would make her real powerful.
But again, the more I think about it, the more I start to get angry at Rumple. That means he corrupted his own daughter. Talk about having a favorite child, he spent 300 years looking for his son and in the process of achieving said goal he corrupted his daughter. Not only that but if anyone noticed, If Regina is his daughter he just gave her back to the witch who harmed her to begin with. If this is true that would make for a very interesting story, but has brought Rumple down a lot of points for me. He was my favorite character and ugh, you just don’t harm your own family, you do not leave family behind!!!! That would make him a true coward for me and yes, he needs to suffer for a while, he does not deserve Belle, he has to man up first and stop being coward. We all saw the face he made when he saw Cora, she actually made him flinch. I mean come on he couldn’t get rid of Cora from the beginning he had Regina push her through the looking glass instead. I don’t know I like the idea but I don’t like it at the same time. They have to tread lightly on this subject or this could be that dreaded moment when a show usually jumps the gun.

TheGoldenKey, as much I would like it, I don’t think Regina will redeem herself any time soon. She’s trying to, but she’s doing it for all the wrong reasons – to get Henry back on her side. Hence it is still selfish and she’s not even remotely sorry for all her wrongdoings.
I completely agree that Regina will revert back to being The Evil Queen because she cannot just redeem herself for Henry, which she did confess to doing on Sunday night’s episode of “In the name of the brother,” she has to do it for herself. But I don’t think that Regina will die. Regina has to get a good ending, if she doesn’t then Rumple shouldn’t get one either. He was one of the ones who started this mess, Cora broke Regina but Rumple filled her with hatred. Between the two they created a monster. If Rumple does in deed get to redeem himself then he should also chip in and help undo what he helped to create. If not he does not deserve to get a happily ever after with Belle either.
I have been watching the youtube interviews and Lana Parilla herself said that she believes Regina got lost and started spiraling down a void with no one to help her. If anything I think that will be part of Emma’s task as the savior, you know good vs. evil, the last battle. A fight to save someones soul and so forth. At least that is what I am hoping for. If Regina dies after all we have seen her suffer through and how we have seen that she was corrupted then there would be no point to the story, for that matter they should have just let the story end how it originally ended in the original Disney’s Snow White, The Evil Queen falling off a cliff and dying.
