ParticipantI posted this on another thread but thought I’d post it here too as the sneak peek made me wonder about Johanna. Here’s what I think.
Zelena telling Snow that she knew Johanna made me think and go back and watch The Queen is Dead episode. I think Johanna is connected to Zelena and may have had a hand in her being taken from Cora and ending up in Oz. A few things are now standing out as a little odd for me.
1) Young Snow caught Johanna trying on her tiara. Was there more to that scene than showing Young Snow being snippety?
2) Both Johanna and Zelena have red hair. Not a big thing but still a physical trait they share and worth mentioning.
3) Johanna was Eva’s hand maid and could have easily assisted Cora by slipping Eva the poison that killed her.
4) Johanna told Young Snow about the liaison between Eva & Blue and admitted to Snow that she wasn’t suppose to know about it. How did she know about it then? Was she spying on Eva?
5) It was Johanna who convinced Young Snow to seek out Blue only to have Cora impersonate Blue in an attempt to get Young Snow to use dark magic. Was Johanna in on the set up?
6) In SB, when Cora & Reggie held Johanna hostage, Snow said not to harm Johanna as she has nothing to do with this. Cora response was: ”Of course she does.” Hmmm…..makes you wonder what Johanna had to do with everything and how much she knew.
7) Towards the end of that scene, Snow again asks Cora to let Johanna go and says, “You got what you came for”. Cora’s response: ”Not quite everything” and throws Johanna to her death. Makes you wonder if Cora had other reasons for wanting her dead and that’s also what “she came for”. Could Johanna know more than either Reggie or Snow knows and was Cora afraid that Johanna would spill the beans about Zelena, thus shutting her up forever?

ParticipantYa, probably is ‘want’. I’m still having a hard time hearing it though. Too bad, I thought we had our ‘baby daddy’ answer. lol!
Going to to Leo theory now.

ParticipantHave to admit that I was torn between ‘want’ and ‘are’. If it’s the former than it certainly sounds like she’s been looking for either Neal (love from OZ?), a child of her own (explains interest in Snow & Aurora’s babies) or family as in father, sister/s or brother (still leaves it open for either Leo or Rumple).
I will concede to the word “want”. Just when I thought we had our babydaddy answer. 😉

ParticipantWatch the Canadian promo again everyone. In it, you hear Rumple ask Zelena: “Just exactly what is it you are?” She replies: “Something you’ve spent a lifetime seeking. Luckily, I won’t have to.”
He spent his lifetime seeking his child. I think she is telling him she’s his daughter.

ParticipantI’m thinking that young Leo and Eva may have had a hand in assisting Cora in finding another home for the baby. What better place than Oz, if that’s where Eva came from.
If Cora had magic, she could certainly have stalled her wedding and hidden the pregnancy from everyone, except of course Leo & Eva.

ParticipantI’m the first to admit that I believed Leo was Zelena’s father and trust me when I say I took a lot of crap on other sites for stating so.
However, after listening to the Canadian promo, you can clearly hear Rumple say: “Just exactly what is it you are?” Zelena: “Something you’ve spent a lifetime seeking. Luckily, I won’t have to.”
Rumple spent his lifetime seeking out Bae, his son – his child. Zelena just told him she’s his child.

ParticipantThe story keeps getting more and more interesting, doesn’t it?
I mean, we show Z breaking ‘blood locks’ twice yet we know she needed Reggie’s blood for a potion of something. So why her blood if not to break the ‘blood locks’?
Why Reggie and not Z to cast the first curse?
Funny how BOTH Z & Rumple seem to have their memories. Really begs to ask who actually cast the curse?

ParticipantFAVOURITE MOMENTS:
Seeing Ruby!
Grumpy had lots of fun lines!
Emma & Reggie bonding. I really enjoyed that. Emma was so gracious with Reggie, touching really.
Banter between Robin & EQ. Great chemistry there.
EQ & Z. FANTASTIC chemistry between them! I doubted Bex’s ability to bring it to the show. Well she did and she made a monkey out of me in the process.
Handsome Mr. Gold on the exterior and the insane little imp Rumple on the interior. The ending with GoldRum singing his little song made me so happy. Exciting to see this side of him again and watch him play it all out this season.
LEAST FAVOURITE
Not disappointed to see Little John gone. I thought his acting was poor.
Not enough Neal moments. 🙁
Didn’t like Emma’s nonchalant quip about it not being the first time she’s dated a flying monkey when they were discussing what could have possibly happened to Neal. Seemed cold & thoughtless.

ParticipantConfused, shouldn’t this whole thread be under Nonnie’s ‘favourite & least favourites moments of the episode? https://oncepodcast.com/forums/topic/3x-13-witch-hunt-favorite-and-least-favorite-moments/

ParticipantNot sure about her lying. Regina used a blood lock twice after Z already had Reggie’s blood. The question is did the blood lock prevent anyone from getting into the castle or just prevent anyone from opening the door to Cora’s crypt?
If they are sisters, I’m still sticking to young Leo being the father, but I am no open to the possibility of it being Rumple. They did make a point of having Reggie say that Z was jealous that Rumple used her to cast the curse instead of Z. Why bring that up unless of course we are being asked to question “Why didn’t Rumple use Z to cast the curse?”. The most obvious reason would be because she is his and if she is his, does she even know this?
