ParticipantThanks RG, it’s good to be back 🙂
I think that first preview from D23 really gave it away with the blue/white doll. Â Ben Linus from Lost had a pair that his childhood friend had given him. Â I’ve been tossing and turning between friend or bro for a while now.
But the dreamcoat sure clinched it for me.  Joseph and his brothers 😉
I like the idea of Rumple’s father running away and his brother running away. Â That would just add to Rumple’s feelings of abandonment.
Abandonment, heart plucking, shadow peeling, whatever lies ahead, it’s going to be good!  🙂

ParticipantThanks tiara_rose 🙂
I was also wondering if it actually was a heart Pan needed to create his curse to stay young. Â Maybe it was Colin’s heart rather than his shadow. Â In any event, I think Pan killed Colin be it for his heart or shadow.

ParticipantMan oh man, can this man talk. Love what he says and how he says it. Down to earth, genuine and sincere. I’ll dance the way MRJ wants me to if he’ll only ask me too. 😉 😆

ParticipantKat, I still believe it was early 1900’s which is the 20th century. That’s when the Peter Pan and Darling Family story took place. Some people might be thinking 1830’s, only because Oliver Twist was written in 1838. However, they didn’t say he was Oliver Twist only that they wanted to portray him as an Oliver Twist type of street kid. Children workhouses were in operation from the 1600’s to the 1930’s so that won’t define the century/era for us.
I haven’t seen any confirmation from the K&H or the writers stated it was the early 1800’s. Add to that, Big Ben wasn’t completed until 1858. So, given that we are seeing Neverland, the Darlings and Big Ben, I’m sticking to 1902-1904. 🙂

Agreed Kat. Perhaps the line should have said “wasn’t my ONLY stop”. Just one more teeny tiny thing to make us go crazy throughout the summer hiatus 🙂 Which brings us back to him also saying he is a couple of hundred years old. We are missing years here as well, but that’s another discussion for the other thread dealing with Bae & Wendy’s timeline.
Ah, THAT was the thread I was looking for to explain some of the stuff that came up in the livechat about the timeline. Thanks! (Short version: supposedly somebody said it was the 19th century he landed in which means sometime in the 1800s which means the portal probably worked like the others have so far and he didn’t miss any years, just landed. The main issue with this is it still LOOKS like early 1900s and then of course there’s Big Ben being in existence which ALSO leads it to be early 1900s. *cue head-scratching*)
I agree that it should have been wasn’t the ONLY stop, that would have made FAR more sense. (They should know by now how we overanalyze stuff, how did they miss that?).
I believe he landed at the turn of the century, coming into the 20th century. Peter Pan is first seen in The Little White Bird (also known as Adventures in Kensington Gardens) and this book was written in 1902. The stage play, Peter Pan, was written in 2004, followed by 3 others, up until 1911. So, Bae would have appeared in London, back around 110 years ago. 🙂

Oh!!! I like that train of thinking! Tamara did know who AWB was and also knew who Neal was. They certainly could have been watching Emma the whole time.
Only one thing that keeps popping up in my head. If they were involved, they’d have to know where SB was to bring in Henry, unless of course Reggie stepped outside to pick him up. So why would Greg still be searching for it? I know all other communication could have been done by phone.
