Several people have mentioned 2KFL being an equation but I still don’t understand. What equation is it supposed to be a part of? I don’t recognize it. And I’m eager to know!
Gypsy actual dug that up but what I can tell you is that KFL means Kips (kilopounds) per Lineal Foot thus 2kfl. Best I can do as math/science was never my forte 🙂

Something else that stroke me as odd. From the pictures he’s supposedly visiting the coast. Yet all pics of his meal are beef and no seafood. No lobster, crab, fish????Sorry but those meals look like my husband’s favorites… no way he would eat a fish or seafood ….. I keep telling him he has to leave me a wealthy widow with that diet …. but so far no changes.

My father rarely eats fish, and we live in New England. I’m cautious about fish because I have seafood allergies. So that one doesn’t strike me as too odd.
I understand that people have allergies or don’t care for seafood but we are talking about K&H here and Once Upon a Time. There’s a reason for the photos. Just like when they showed us the newspaper clipping about local boy finding baby in the newspaper. Very big clue that AWB was Pino.
Same with these photos. Why show his love of food, pics of nothing but beef two weeks prior to his crash, then pics of him touring the eastern coastline, standing by a seafood menu YET not one single pic of a seafood meal or any meal for that matter! That’s the first thing you’d think would be there. First thing that comes to mind when someone is going to the east coast is that they can’t wait for the fresh seafood and shellfish. These pics are there for a reason and point to something.

I forgot a moment. While I don’t like that true love’s kiss didn’t work on Belle (as I knew it wouldn’t) RC played it so well. Before he kisses her he’s so hesitant and you can tell he’s thinking “please work. please work. please come back to me.”
OUaT keeps blowing holes in my ship. :'( I can’t take it guys.RumplesGirl, chin up. I was following Jane Espenson’s tweets last night. These are just new hurdles and challenges their relationship will have to go through. She was asked about the cup and she said something to the effect that you don’t love a keepsake do you? You love the person not the cup. So somewhere down the line we’ll see them together again.

ParticipantFound the statue in the first pic. It’s part of a collection in Steveston BC, the fictional town of Storybrooke. You’ve got the old fisherman tending his nets, the young tenderman unloading his catch and the female canner out on her break. I guess they have no real significance other than to emphasize he’s on a sightseeing trip.

On another note, I’m not sure how I feel about Rumpel being Regina’s father, but they practically shouted it, and the Star Wars theme added several exclamation points.
I know a lot of people are saying that but I don’t see why. Yes, we know there was to be a kiss between Rumple and Cora. That just showed us that they had an intimate relationship back when Cora was younger.
However, knowing Rumple the way we do, setting up his daughter to cast the dark curse and go through all that misery is something he simply would never do. We know how he feels about Bae and Belle. Why would he feel any differently towards his daughter? Rumple lives for Bae. He’d be living for Reggie as well if she were his.

I think that was a nice little setup for the fact that Greg is from some other, storybook related land. *cough*Oz*cough*
All the talk of science in this episode has to mean something for his name. The real Gregor Mendel studied peas, which are kinda sorta almost beans. Jack, maybe?
Can’t be Jack. Jack is being played by a female actress named Cassidy Freeman.

ParticipantI didn’t get the feeling that they were leading us to believe that he’s Reggie’s father at all. Only that he had a fling with a younger Cora. I think it’s been clear from the start how Rumple feels about children, especially his own child. No way would he have set his daughter up the way he set Reggie up.

ParticipantWe’ve been discussing Greg Mendell’s name in the Ethan Embry thread for a couple of days now.

Too early to call it. I think we need more clues. He could be a professor of science linking him to Professor Marvel of the Wizard of Oz and Frank Baum’s (the author) father made a living out of the oil field in Pennsylvania. The first plate of his license plate 2KFL could mean took flight as in air balloon.
He could also be a Jekyll/Hyde. We are talking about genetics. 2KFL is a mathematical equation and in the first edition of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde there were 138 pages.
