Jane Espenson tweeted that Rumple’s facial expression was like he was looking at a giant tumour! 😆 What Rumple won’t do to find Bae and keep Belle safe. 😆

I love how delightfully awkward Rumple looks as he’s walking through the airport security. He’s already lost control of what’s happening with Belle in SB, and now he’s out of his depth in our modern world on top of it all. Will be fun seeing how he copes.

I don’t think James, Charming’s brother, was Jack, since he was traded as a baby to be King George’s son in a deal Charming’s father made with Rumplestiltskin. I won’t rule it out though, since Jack is an obvious nickname for James. But maybe Charming is Jack! 😮

There’s another post somewhere in here about a chick having apparently been cast to play Jack. I think Charming’s twin was involved in the war with the giants, and fought alongside Jack, but James escaped, though not before slaying someone close to our particular Giant, which is why he’s gonna go after Charming, thinking he’s James.

Yes, I posted that. The actress Cassidy Freeman is listed as playing Jack.

Back when we thought he was the wolf, before Red Handed aired, I called him the WhaleWolf. Saw his twitter tonight and seems to be the name he likes most out of all the ships. I’m flattered. 🙂 PS mind you, when I was calling him that back then, I never intended it to be a ship between him and red. Funny how things turn out sometimes.

    Do you have any thoughts?
I’m also a bit unsure about “HER” calling Gary all the time, maybe it’s someone’s initials?
Oh, and is it just me, or does Gary know a bit too much? As in, he didn’t tell Emma that he saw anything, heck, he risked his licence by saying he was texting! But he was very quick to call this other person and tell her/him something interesting…
Now, I’m also not sure what was it that this person “wasn’t going to believe in” – was it that he saw some magic (which excuse me, but I highly doubt, that ball of fire was hardly visible from behind of Rumple’s hand! especially at that car speed!) OR that he saw Rumple or Hook and that was what was so interesting? Maybe he was looking for one of them for ages?
Don’t know but I actually am a fan of Gary being just an ordinary guy, it would force EVERYONE to go back to FTL… or something? 😕

Do you mean Greg or is there something or someone I’m missing named Gary?

Great job Phee! Thanks so much for sharing that with us all!

Well here’s what I find rather odd. All his outgoing calls are from Pennsylvania, some as inland as Erie. Yet all his pictures show him on the east coast. Doesn’t make any sense. So, we have NO area codes or numbers linking him to the coastline nor do they show him travelling from Pennsylvania to Maine.

Something else that stroke me as odd. From the pictures he’s supposedly visiting the coast. Yet all pics of his meal are beef and no seafood. No lobster, crab, fish????

Would love to know what statue that is he is posing with. Also wondering if he’s a food critic and a writer for travel magazine.

Just a thought and it’s way, way out there. But what if he’s the writer of the book. Always thought it was fantasy and how surprised to find out all his characters were real. Like I said, way out there but the thought of him being some sort of writer just strikes me as odd.

I loved this episode for many reasons.

    1) love all the nods to Star Wars. From the ringtone of Greg’s cellphone, to the star on his charger to the hospital room # R2 42 being R2 D2.

    2) With Leroy and Dr. Whale considering the alternative, it just showed how vulnerable they were when it came to dealing with the real world. Leroy showed fear and Dr. Whale showed he was despondent and uninterested in what lay ahead. Let him die, save him, who cares type of attitude.

    3) We see Dr. Whale torn away from his family, wanting to go home and find a remedy for his brother but feeling that all is lost. I especially loved how he and Ruby ended up bonding and found her line “I ate my boyfriend” comical.

    4) I thought Belle was great as an amnesia victim. Her confusion and fear were certainly showing.

    5) Robert Carlyle was superb showing Rumples vulnerabilities and pain when it comes to Belle and how it translate to anger and frustration towards the rest of the townfolk.

    6) That kiss between Cora and Rumple. Did you see his face? LOL! Jane Espenson said it was like he was staring at a giant tumor! 😆

    7) Cora and Reggie. Great scenes! Not sure how far Reggie will go but hopefully will stop in the nick of time.

    8) Greg on the phone. I could almost hear the theme to Jaws…………going to get really interesting with an outsider there. Will they catch on that he knows and will they let him leave? Or will he decide to stay and do some snooping around?

All in all, I enjoyed it. I loved how they wrapped the Frankenstein story into things. Makes it easier for other stories from other worlds and books to come in the future. I especially love how they have Henry addressing the whole “but Frankenstein isn’t in the book?”” How many times have we heard that over the last few months. I guess they’ve let us know, in no uncertain terms, it’s about STORY BOOK characters and not just fairy tales.

Hmmm…..very tired and not sure whether I’ll look at this in the morning and say to myself “what the heck did you write!!! 😆 Please excuse the spelling as well:) Nite all.

honestly, when i think back… in fairytale land, pinocchio was very good to help his dad with all this wood-works…, i remember that he was making a wooden fish or something like that, while prince charming and snow had the meeting at the round table just before the curse came…

based on this, i believe that august has made this mysterious wooden box, and i believe that he must have used the wood from the tree that he and emma came through to our world…. maybe this tree has some magic, and the box itself can show what the other believe…or wants to believe..

in short, august asked neal if he believed in magic, and said that after neal has seen what was in the box he would believe in him…. so august was very confident that no matter what neal will trust in him…. these words could led to the theory above, the box itself can show what a person wants to see or desire…. so neal in this case get surprise after seeing what was in the box and want to listen to the story august wanted to tell him… about the curse etc…

i dont think that august placed the pic of the dagger in the box, because i believe that he didnt know who neal was… but it can also be that august as emma “guardian” has tracked neal down and know neal’s real identity and placed what ever related to him in that box.. in this

i thought that august learned about the dagger from henry’s book after he took it and write his own story in there…. so his knowledge about the dagger came after he meet neal and not before…..

I agree. I either posted something along those lines either here or in my little group. It makes perfect sense that a woodcarver would know how to carve a box out of a magical tree.

In regards to him showing a picture of Rumple, that may be closer to the truth than we realize. EvilQueen posted some key art showing Rumple sporting a shiny red cape holding a magnifying glass, similar to something Sherlock Holmes would wear and have. Perhaps this is the picture AWB showed Neal. Rumple is small, the cape is shiny and red and it’s a mystery thus the magnifying. In real life, Rumple would be all those things but large. It’s a long shot but you never know.

Think you must be thinking of AntBee’s post earlier in this thread?

    So I was! 😀 Thank’s for pointing that out Phee. I 🙂

That was AntBee’s theory. 😉 (I have had Jekyll and Hyde ideas, but that was in relation to Dr Whale’s brother a while back.)

Ooops. Thanks for the head’s up Phee and sorry AntBee. I’m asleep at the wheel once again. 😉 I like AntBee’s suggesting. 😀
