Yeah, at the time when I voted, the poll showed I was the only one supporting that option, hence the comment ๐
But do you actually root for Belle ending up with Hook for good?
As much as I started to like her character, she was kinda annoying with this sticking to Rumple at all costs and “I see the good in you” (but not in Hook? ๐ ) when he didn’t even show any sign of trying to redeem himself. I understand taking such a stand is difficult though and takes some balls so I was curious to how it would continue. But now the situation has revolved 180 degrees, I wouldn’t mind if Belle found someone else, for good. We saw that the Storybrooke characters before the curse had no problem of forgetting the people they truly loved when back in Fairy Tale Land – both the Charmings, Katherine, Grace and, to the certain extent, Sean (Cinderella’s bf) and Nova or Hansel’s and Gretel’s father.
So now, since the memory loss cannot be undone, even according to Rumple, Belle, in a way, has another chance, of falling in love with someone who doesn’t require that much work! ๐No, not ending up with Hook. I like the chemistry between Rumple and Belle and ultimately want to see them back together.. But, I wouldn’t mind a little challenge and a few bumps in the road along the way.

If Neal is Bae, then not only would seeing a pic of Rumple in the box convince him that August had connections and knew the truth, but it’d probably also scare him into complying.
Exactly. I just don’t buy the dagger drawing, because August knowing about the dagger isn’t that scary if Neal/Bae has every reason to believe that Papa is still in FTL. It’s a shock but not an immediate threat. Learning that his father is here and that a curse is involved poses a more immediate threat, so it just seems like a much better attention grabber. Especially with all the hinting that Bae won’t be happy to see Rumple.
I wouldn’t downplay the importance of the dagger. It is after all, the very thing that corrupted Bae’s father. I’m sure it’s the thing that Bae hates most in the world. It is unique in appearance and has the name Rumplestiltskin written on it. It’s a powerful object.
Considering that Hook knew all about it when he attacked Belle in EQ’s jail cell, seems to be that Rumple’s secret isn’t as protected and secretive as he’d like it to be. Young Pino as a child certainly could have heard stories based on rumours. Jefferson may have figured it out while working with Rumple. Seems EQ knows about it and Blue certainly would.

Haha, I’m the one person who voted “Belle will not regain her memory & fall in love with another person.”
I like the drama, you see ๐I think Carolanne and I kinda beat you to the punch when we suggested Belle would hook up with Hook while Rumple is away. Sort of counts, doesn’t it?

ParticipantHe’s not Neal though. He’s actor Ethan Embry and will be playing a character by the name of Greg Mendell.
I like Phee’s suggesting that it might be pointing towards Jekyll and Hyde. Gypsy pointed out that 2KFL is a mathematical equation. The book, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, by Robert Louis Stevenson, was first printed in 1886 and had 138 pages.
The real Greg Mendell (who we now know is Ethan's character's name) was a world reknown scientist that specialized in genetics.
So maybe the plates are pointing in the direction of mad science.

ParticipantI like Phee’s first thoughts on this. Not sure if it was here or the other thread but it was about Greg Mendell being Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.
Gypsy brought up the fact that 2KFL is a mathematical equation. As well, the very first printing of the book, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, by Robert Louis Stevenson, was exactly 138 pages long. Greg Mendell is after all the father of genetics. It would be a fun way to introduce that character. I’ll bet he and Victor would make great drinking buddies.
Correction: I like AntBee’s first thoughts on this. ๐

If Cora’s been wandering around town impersonating the kid, (as the sneak peek for In The Name Of The Brother suggests), it may be a tactical move to take him outta town, that way she can’t impersonate him any more, so they’re disarming her, in a way.
Good point and makes a lot of sense. Reggie goes to Emma and asks her to protect Henry from Cora and keep him out of reach. I love the thought of Reggie and Emma working together for the common good.

ParticipantMaybe because he’s a professor of science? That’s what I thought when I read his last name. Professor of Science equals Professor Marvel/Wizard of OZ ? ๐

ParticipantI have to wonder if while Rumple is busy in NY if Hook & Belle won’t end up bonding while in the hospital together. What a twist that would be! Ultimately, we want to see an end with Rumbelle but so much can happen before that.
