Hrm. That sounds almost … Rapunzelesque. Where the mom-to-be needs help but there’s a price to pay.
Which could tie in with the Rapunzel we know is coming …

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantI think the betrayal is Philip and Aurora. Wasn’t it implied several places that they’re keeping secrets?
I think No. 2 is referring to Hook. Not that he’s really reverted (although I don’t like Hook at all, I don’t think we’re going to see that here) … But I could certainly see snarky Hook being snarky with the response. 🙂 He does it so well.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantDoes anyone else see something right above Emerald City in that second panel? Flying monkey, maybe? (I thought dragon! when I first saw it, but that doesn’t make sense. 🙂 )
The shadow in the upper left made me hiss and think “Pan!” I know it seems unlikely we’d see him again, but Rumple perhaps … didn’t someone say the shadow thing was going to come back into play?
I’ve lost track.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantYou know, I always thought there was … something … about Rumple’s last speech before he stabbed Pan. Something about his phrasing and intensity … like he was trying to pass a message or something.
I need to rewatch that. I haven’t had to heart to do so yet.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantHmm. It makes me think of when Adam said “terrible” things would happen if Neal went looking for Emma. If I remember it right?

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantYeah, they basically gave away that Neal dies……. the hooded figure looks like a woman
What makes you think that? (The first part.)

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantHm. Just read through the storyline for “The Grudge” and I’m having a hard time fitting the two together. I do like the notion that Rapunzel might be the bad guy, but after pulling that with one of Disney’s best beloved characters (Pan), I have a hard time believing they’d do it with Rapunzel, even a non-“Tangled” Rapunzel. But you never know!
There is this line in the Wikipedia description of “The Grudge” — “The Grudge describes a curse that is born when someone dies in the grip of a powerful rage or extreme sorrow. The curse is an entity created where the person died.” Could Rapunzel have something to do with The Dark One?
It’s also presented in a very non-linear way, jumping back and forth in time. Interesting.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantNothing about Belle or Gold or Rumbelle…….more of the usual, sigh. I like the idea of home, but boy is this frustrating
I think Belle is Rumple’s idea of home. Where she is now, home is. And I think one way or another, Belle will be the one to bring Rumple home.
I’m going to hold out and say the wedding at the end of the season is theirs.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantBut that IS an opinion. And just as valid as other opinions.
Storywise, I could see it happening. It would be an interesting turn of the story.
Hook has a thing for Emma; I could totally see him making a deal with the dev … err, WWW … if it meant he thought he could save her. He doesn’t care nearly so much for any other resident of SB. (Why should he?)
