OK.
I’ve ranted here too. Quite a bit, actually.
And I know this is applying real-world feelings to a show, but we’ve been doing that all along. 😉
You can be happy again after something like that. There is *always* a shadow of sorrow. But life goes on. You do still love. You still laugh. You still live.
It’s never the same. There’s always that sorrow. But saying no love ever
again?I, thank God, have never known that pain. But I have friends and loved ones who have. And it’s doing them a disservice to suggest you should never, ever be happy again after that.
To be honest? I hope we see Rumple marry Belle this season. Not because he’s replacing Bae. But because life goes on. And you can’t stop living. Or loving. If anything, this just drives that home.

Not after all they’ve established about Neal.
Unless they totally want to go there.
That really would be the death knell for me with the show.

-- Dylan ThomasHad a dream last night where all the characters (including Neal, back from the dead) were in this bizarre EF AU and Neal was the only one who remembered what had really happened. And even though he remembered DYING, he was trying to get Hook (of all people) to help get them back to the real SB because “this isn’t the real Emma; she wouldn’t be happy like this.”
It was a bizarre, nonsensical dream brought on by overtiredness and perhaps a glass of wine before bed. And it STILL made more sense than a lot of what we’ve seen. 😛

A&E said we’re going to see the ramifications of Neal’s death. I wonder if this is what they mean.

Probably not. Sigh.
I could see Hook making a deal with Zelena. He uses the JR to cast the curse and in return he gets to bring Emma back … and oh, by the way, he throws in, “Get Neal out of the way.” (Though because I dislike Hook but don’t find him totally evil, he’d tell her not to kill him. Of course, she didn’t, technically …) That could be why Hook’s reactions in “Quiet Minds,” etc. just seemed … off. And why he has a serious guilty conscience. It’s not JUST the curse.

My two boys (who both still have yellow blankets from their babyhood days) will be stunned to hear that. 😀
Seriously, though, hospitals often go with green or yellow in delivery rooms because it’s not considered a “gendered” color. (And the whole concept of a “gendered” color is a bit ridiculous anyway. /off soapbox)
