Hmm. Spent a few minutes squinting at that picture, but I see nothing odd …
Or is he making a statement about the episode as a whole?
Or, better yet, the season …

Okay. Raise your hand if you are now suspicious that actors of coming out of the woodwork.
You know what else I’m really tired of? Plot devices. Even typing down the words makes me feel exhausted. I don’t know why I still care. I’m probably foolishly holding on to the hope that there is one character out there they will not screw up (for the sake of plot).
I hate them as well.
*pops out of woodwork*
“hope to see you soon”
All aboard the conspiracy train!
(Has brief mental image of what the Conspiracy Train would look like. Has been watching too much Thomas the Tank Engine with small boys.)

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantI haven’t been posting much. And I’m even on vacation. Sadly, I think it’s a sign I’m sort of over the show. 🙁 But I’m still checking out this thread.
That Tumblr post … I can’t even … *clutches editorial red pen and howls* …
Very good question about what we’d like to see if we could have one more Neal scene. As much as I’d love something SF, it would have to be Henry. He needs the chance to tell his dad goodbye once he remembers. And Neal needs to fulfill his “I will see you both again.” It’s simply how fairy tales WORK. Even my 5-year-old, who is sort of Disney-obsessed right now, could tell A&E that. 😛
(I’m not joking either. We watched “Atlantis” — that not-so-well-received 2001 Disney animated movie — for the first time today. Spoilers, but the king dies after his daughter has been captured. Sam was exceptionally concerned about this. “But she didn’t get to say goodbye! She HAS to say goodbye! And ‘I love you!’ “)
I love that kid. 🙂 Instilling fairy tale tropes in the next generation!

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantThing is, the writers sort of made me lose faith which is resulting in me not thinking much of them and their ability to write not crap. It’s gotten to a point where I expect absolutely anything and everything no matter how illogical or stupid. Which is why I wouldn’t put it past them to pair him up with Emma regardless of his transgressions and lies.
I used to be such an apologist for the show. “They’ll get to this plot hole, don’t worry!” and such. After Neal’s death, it’s like the rose tinted glasses came off. I find it hard to overlook or explain away plot holes, poorly written character development, and magical handwaving plot devices.
Yup. This.
I have a tiny, microscopic even, bit of hope that this is all going somewhere. I’m keeping an eye on the show via this site and spoilers just in case.
But unless something truly awesome and astounding happens … well, my Sundays are just too darned busy to give an hour to something that makes me so unhappy.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantI didn’t watch the last episode. I read the spoilers on IMDb, though. That was quite enough.
I was entertaining a notion that maybe Hook really is starting to slowly realize that he isn’t a hero at all, that he let Bae/Neal down, that he can’t really be a good father figure to Henry, that he failed Ariel and Eric … and that he’s not what Emma ultimately needs or wants. And in the end, he’ll do the only thing he can for her and somehow sacrifice himself to defeat Zelena and bring Neal back, thereby making both his and Neal’s third season promo posters true, after all.
Now, THAT’s a storyline. It’ll never happen. Sigh.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantHad a ridiculous thought today. My 5-year-old was rewatching one of his favorite Disney movies, “Lady & The Tramp,” which was released when his grandparents were little kids. 🙂
I was working on some cookies and idly watching.
Tramp is a cynic, but a protector of his fellow strays and a thief with a heart of gold.
Lady, which pampered, meets him when she’s been sort of cast out by a intruder on the happy life she should have had. (He rescues her.)
Lady gets tossed into jail, err, the pound while caught up in trouble Tramp originally made.
But when it matters, he comes back to rescue her and the child. (Human baby. Still.)I said it was ridiculous! 😉
Ugh. I’m seeing SwanFire EVERYWHERE. 😀 🙁

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantI’m just leaving this here:
Read from the bottom first. (About the article, if not the article itself, and then the tweets.) Remind you of anything.
And, yes, I just did sorta connect Neal with Captain America. I’m OK with that.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantI can’t help it, I keep doing it …
Didn’t see the episode, but I did read the spoilers. Were the words “second chance” actually used in respect to Zelena’s plan? Because whose poster had the those same words on it?
If they’re stringing us along, they’re going a good job of it. Ugh.

“Though lovers be lost love shall not;

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantI think it’s — ironically — because I’m so bitter that I’m willing to hope.
I won’t heavily invest myself in it, but I’m so down on the show right now that if something happens … I’ll so ever so happily surprised. And if it doesn’t … eh,it’s no more then where I was already at.
Probably doesn’t make sense at all. 🙂 But it’s where I’m at.

-- Dylan ThomastheoniongirlParticipantI’m sorry, don’t have it at hand, but check the IMDb OUAT page … Someone live blogs the 6 p.m. Canada showing.
I just can’t help it. Choosing to have hope. D*mn them.
It tore my little fix all to heck, which I sort of expected. Ah well … It served its purpose.
