Regina got what she deserved (Robin). The issue is that this is clearly NOT
Also, shouldn’t Marian still be alive in this AU? I hope they mention this. Anyway, here is a copy/paste of what I am thinking about RH, EQ, and the wish charming made. It contains spoilers.
So here’s what I think. Charming made the wish with the intent of EQ getting punished for all her crimes, but his wording “to get what she deserves” is so vague that he probably should have been more specific. So the EQ is going to get what she deserves, which in OUAT logic is going to be….a happy ending….redemption…and love. This is where fake RH is going to come in as well as fake FTL and even fake henry. EQ, I speculate, at some point in this story is going to be forced to help the heroes and turn over a new leaf. She will reunite with Robin and go to live in the newly made FTL where she and he will raise Prince Henry and be rulers of the EF. I think this will happen because it would not be right to have real Regina live happily ever after with Fake!Robin. He’s not the real RH, not the one she knew and went through so much with, he is a copy. At least with EQ going off with him, its okay because shes not really real either. There has to be a reason for the scene at the start of the episode to take place with EQ at RH’s grave, talking about how she *used* to love him. I think its all foreshadowing. The fake realm being created, RH popping back up, Henry being alive in the realm despite all logic.

Ehh.. I disagree with that. From Henry’s perspective, Regina was an evil queen who had tried to kill his grandparents and mother for years, and now here she is standing in front of him having just murdered his grandparents. To henry, it was self defense. To him, she was a murderer. So I think its justified.
Is this foreshadowing?
I actually get the impression this Henry is going to be pretty dark. Idk what it was but something just gives me that impression…idk. But I bet all the cookies.

I’m guessing Rump will be the one to find her an realize whats happened. I doubt its the last we’ve seen of her and I’m betting that she will actually turn good at some point and help the heroes.
What I am concerned about is the wish david made about EQ getting exactly what she deserves. I wonder how that’s going to play into what has happened. Is that what she deserved? To be turned into a snake? Or is there more? I’m guessing that wish is going to be important.

I’m 50/50 on what I’ve seen, but I liked it.
On a different note:
Now that we know how RH will get back to SB….I don’t like it. It doesn’t feel right. This is a “fake” Robin, afterall. A copy. Made by a genie for a fake world. if they bring him back and attempt to have regina continue on and love him like normal, it will feel like a replacement Robin. I don’t like that much.

What I liked:
– Henry is a brave knight!
– Emma has a great relationship with her parents.
– The queen’s castle in ruins was a nice touch.
– Rump is crazy and I love it.
– Everyone seems genuinely happy. This seems the stereotypical “Happily Ever After” that comes at the end of the story.
What I didn’t like:
– Emma and Snow seem so bubblegum, sugary sweet. Snow wasn’t like that in the EF already, and Emma was just plain weak. Ugh.
– The…timeline…logic? Henry was still a thing here? By Neal? Okay so how did Neal live centuries into the future to be with Emma in the EF? What made Rumpel want to create the dark curse if Neal was alive and well in the realm? Even if you make the argument that the wish only made it so that EQ was defeated in this timeline, that doesn’t account for the fact that Neal should still have been in NVL or our world by that point. Just don’t get it, and of course, I’m thinking too hard.
– Why does Rump have a magic bean? There aren’t supposed to be any left…
– Not a nitpick but just wanted to point it out: The Evil Queen isn’t dead. They seemed to have banished her, did they not? No one here ever says she’s dead, just defeated, right? I think that’s going to be important.

Hmm. Darker realms. Outside of Rump’s reach (*cough* like all the realms, Rumpel?! Burn!!) Uh… hmmm. Interesting? I honestly don’t know. Maybe she lives in, like, the world of the cenobites or something.
Hoenstly I bet we aren’t even going to get an answer to this.

And the “rest” of Emma will survive.
but what would be left behind? Are we just going to ignore the whole emma has no potential for evil thing? Do the writers even remember that?

Other shows and movies and stuff have done that. Like in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, how Rose Weasley’s actress also plays Young Hermione when they go back in time. So I could buy that is whats happening. I don’t like it but it sounds plausible and would be a way to still use the actor.

Given the title of one of the future episodes is ill boding patterns, which seems to a reference to a sword called Hrunting in Beowulf. And I quote: “rare and ancient sword named Hrunting. The iron blade with its ill-boding patterns had been tempered in blood. It had never failed the hand of anyone who hefted it in battle.” So I am guessing that sword probably has the power to kill EQ without killing Regina. They wouldn’t be putting focus on it if it weren’t special.
