–On the other, it suggests that Belle’s only destiny is to give birth which makes my skin crawl.
I’m sure the show would find some way to make it sound less cringy. Her son being her destiny could mean she was meant to be a great mother, a source of True Love, which is of course the most powerful thing ever. We already know Morfetus’s love for his mama was enough to wake her up just as Emma did with Henry. Perhaps having True Love itself is destiny. Cutting it away from her might be some pretty bad magic to meddle in if that is the case. Especially if you see this as a forced magical abortion that not only forcibly tears a mother away from her child, but disrupts the destined magical forces of True Love. It’d make it easier to buy that Morfetus is under that hood as he is the personification of what happens when 1) Someone screws with destiny 2) What happens when you muck up True Love and 3) he’d be an angry, unloved child of True Love. He is Emma’s opposite in every way. If True Love is destiny, Emma is destiny fulfilled while he is destiny disrupted.
This gets worse the more I think about it.

Okay, so lets assume Rump does intend to cut Belle’s destiny. What if–like with cleaving the darkness from the dark one or with trying to get rid of fear with the night root plant thing–when a person’s destiny is cut, it manifests in the physical world? Perhaps that is why a grownup Morfetus is the one under the hood. He is Belle’s destiny literally cut away from her.
Okay, it doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s crazy. But you guys can see what I kind of mean right?

Well…there’s no law that says a teenager can’t use profanity.
And its not like the he was using it in a insulting manner. It was surprise. There’s no difference than if he had said “what the heck?” I don’t see how changing those two last letters suddenly make his words better or worse other than the taboo we attached to it. Everyone on the show has said it. Heck, even Harry Potter had Ron constantly saying “Bloody Hell” and he was just eleven. I just see that as an exclamation, not a “vulgar” word.
I guess this is something not everyone will agree on, and while I was surprised to hear Henry say that, I don’t see it as a big deal. He’s 13, afterall (is he really? I keep thinking the character should be older….) and I know a lot of 13 year olds aren’t as rainbow stickers and unicorn kisses as they are when their parents are watching. If the worst thing about Henry is that he said the word “hell” in a completely reasonable manner, then the kid is doing pretty well.
I don’t think this is going to corrupt kids anymore than Ron Weasley’s usage of bloody hell or Killian’s usage of it either. I don’t think its the worse thing this show has to offer in terms of morality (umm… ya know, like King Arthur using magic dust to get his wife to stay with him….and no one has done anything about that yet…or locking King George up in the mines to die…or Regina and Zelena both raping men…)
Idk. Just my opinion though.

Because at the most Rump and EQ have always been frenemies, and at the least he is a something akin to a father figure to her (he raised her in a way, and he was in love with her mother. If things had gone differently, he would have been her papa. I’m sure they both know this.). Their previous interactions have never hinted at anything remotely romantic or sexual in nature. Its just sort of out of the blue. It doesn’t fit with what we saw about them before to say the Regina deep down inside is attracted to Rumpelstiltskin. Zelena makes sense. But not her.
And EQ should still be in love and angry at the deaths of Robin or Daniel anyway. I would assume that is whats motivating her. For her to be all over Rumpel, while I admit I find it interesting, its kind of forced and spontaneous.
Belle and Rumple really never did fit well together in my book.
They had to grow on me. While I ship RumBelle…. *whispers* I still think Cora/Rumpel is more of something i’d have been more on board with 😛 *hides in corner of shame*

Also, I wonder who the first spark of True Love belongs to. Headcannon: Its a tree…from the garden of eden…that grew when Adam and Eve first saw eachother and fell in love at first sight….or something like that.

But how could Liam be in his….early 20s? He was a child when we last saw and i doubt that much time had past between Hook killing his papa to the curse being casted.
