I know Paul Bunyan was one, but I am trying to find possible connections.
Like…what do Paul Bunyan and Jekyll/Hyde story have in common. Like there might be a theme here, if not in the stories then maybe in like the time period or ya know, whatever. Like I was thinking maybe Jekyll/Hyde, Dracula, Wolfman, Swamp Monster etc etc might all fit into some kind of classic monster thing.

And people who or may not be from Agrabah.
Was it explained how all these people ended up here? I haven’t re-watched yet. Does Jek/Hyde rule over it or create it or something.

Like… how did Rump get Regina’s tears? Whats up with Blue Fairy? What the heck is the Dragon? How did non-magical wolves manage to raise a human child?

This season was much more interesting than the first half, and probably all of season 4, for me. I liked almost all of the episodes and Hades was such a great villain, loved him and Zee’s story.
The downsides were the usual, for me. Forced CS, unanswered questions, questionable story decisions, etc,etc. But ultimately this last half really had me invested in almost every episode.
I am most looking forward to this literal Evil Queen vs Regina thing and Jekyll…well, I can’t wait to see more of him :3 That voice!!!! Those eyes!!!!! But yeah.
OVERALL: B+

If the untold stories really were UNTOLD stories. That these were stories that in America we aren’t quite familiar with, and then now our heroes have to face these unfamiliar beings from lesser known stories. But it seems the stories are Jekyll and Hyde, and what appears to be Paul Bunyan judign from an illustration and things of that nature. Hmm..
H.G. Wells (steampunk/science fiction feeling of it all)
Well this appeared in the original pilot script. When Regina casted the curse, snow can see into the different worlds. Here is a quote:
“And now she GLIMPSES another world — and maybe we see something beyond our Fairy Tales. A glimpse of one of H.G. Wells’ tripods. The worlds of all storytelling are folding in on one another.”
Things that are not considered traditional fairy tales or mythologies. Dracula?
He was also mentioned in the original pilot script. Here’s the quote:

Or did it say she had to have a heart filled with true love?
Because i agree, you could replace Hook with anyone and it would have had the same outcome. And plus with Emma being True Love incarnate, it really doesnr prove anything.
Doea anyone feel like the writers are avoiding an actual TLK?
