In story: Perhaps Cora wanted to appear young and beautiful just because she could. Now that doesn’t explain why she is the age she died in the underworld though. Honestly, does it do us any good to ask that question. Cora’s ghost appeared with a freaking spinning wheel. A spinning wheel! Why? Because reasons, that’s why.
Out of story: Rose McGowan was on set that day. And it would have been too expensive to CGI ghost Hershey’s face without her actually being there.
THEORY: Cora was de-aged in the underworld. Why? Because Hades likes his brides young. That would explain how she crossed over. I just rewatched the scene. Regina said the séance was only supposed to open a limited portal for talking and then Snow says Cora must have found some way to leak through or something. Cora got her new hubby to do her a favor.

Perhaps we are going to see is middleground/the purgatory side of it and Rumpel was in the hell side (Tartarus? Right?) and all the good people are on the heaven-ish side of it.
They specifically said on the show Rumpel went to Hell and came back and then made the distinction that hell is not the underworld.. So…

He seems to be filming with her a lot… what could they possibly have to do with one another? She tried to kill him and he’s the reason she is dead (in a loose sense. I feel she would hold him accountable because his mother killed her) so what could they possibly be being so buddy buddy over? Has Cruella changed her ways? Can she kill in the underworld? Maybe she is trying to kidnap him and swap his life for her to return to life? Hmmm….
And Liam is in the underworld too? So….everyone has unfinished business, eh? I hope they really clarify what constitutes unfinished business. Because I can’t imagine what unfinished business people like Liam, Henry Sr., Cruella, and the blind witch have.

Witch: I left the stove on. My gas bill is going to be so freaking high.

I just wiki’d Captain Silver here and found that he says he was once apart of the royal navy. So perhaps that a connection.
I hope this guy is actually important to Hook or the plot and not just a one off. At least let him be, like, Blackbeards father or something.

See now, usually I see some kind of romance brewing between Scarecrow and Dorothy… but for some reason I saw that between Tin Man and Dorothy. Especially during the scene where she is about to leave, there just seemed to be more to his “my heart is breaking line”. And the fact that he was the first to protect her from the Kalidahs…. Idk. Plus during his song(awesome rendition, by the way) Dorothy just has this completely heartbroken (puns!) look in her eyes…. I just really enjoyed this two and around my second or third watch, I really picked up on some vibes. I felt like they tried to put those vibes on Scarecrow/Dorothy though with the Kansas version of him being clearly smitten with her. But yeah.

I actually though it was going to be OUAT related for some reason so I was slightly disappointed when it wasn’t. Like I had my hopes up that it would be a like a profile for each show and every week we’d have like “Behind The Magic: Rumpelstiltskin, Behind The Magic: The Evil Queen”, etc.
Eh. It wasn’t bad for it being about Walt Disney though.
