That…..that could be…interesting…. And perhaps her sisters were the spinsters that Rump grew up with. She left the family to pursue magic, Malcolm had to raise the child, who he then left to pursue magic.

I had a theory that Snow learned archery from the same guy as Hercules. Philoctetes was a famed archer in greek mythology. I wonder if that will happen.

My only complaint about her was the fact that she transfigured Ruby into a wolf against her will and was keeping her as a pet. I didn’t see the witch as evil in the film, and it was weird that OUAT made her into a villain for me. But of course at the end when she revealed it was all a test, I was pleased and that felt in line with the character for me. But still there was the thing with Ruby. That just seems so evil.
The actress was amazing, the resemblance uncanny! Hands down the best thing about that episode and I wouldn’t have minded her getting the once treatment and us getting backstory on who she is. The “Pixar Theory” crept into my head for a moment while watching and I was like “It’d be funny if they even hint that the witch really is Boo from Monsters Inc” <– Pixar theory reference where that’s the basic gist of it all.

– Magic battle. It was brief, not as good as Maleficent vs Regina or Regina vs Zelena or Regina vs The Lost Boys even, but it was nice. Even if it was a bit “Priori Incantantem” 😛
– Some things were answered. I guess.
– Zelena is awesome and I cannot wait to see what’s she’s going to do to get her baby back! Zelena is going to go mama bear mode, I can feel it.
– Dr. Whale’s scenes. Even the fact that emma magicked him into the wall like Zelena did was funny to me.
DISLIKED:
– The fact that orders given by people holding the dagger/sword can be resisted by the dark one. I don’t like that at all. It really takes away a level of seriousness because now any time someone orders the dark one to do something bad, I will just be like “Why don’t they just resist it?”
– Basically anything involving Emma/Hook. Emma turned Dark to save Killian. *facepalm* Hook is a Dark One *facepalm* Hook wanted to buy a house…but apparently has no job (nitpick, I know, but..seriously, how was that going to work?)
– Lack of Rumbelle.
This episode wasn’t horrible, it was actually good. Not as good as last weeks but still. It just wasn’t great. I honestly don’t know what ONCE is anymore.

But does this multiplication of Dark Ones mean that any of the DOs we saw in Emma”s hallucination could be contemporaries? You know — Sam the DO decides he can’t live without his sweetheart Nancy, Nancy the DO decides that she really needs cousin Bob to be there for her, cousin Bob … You get the picture.
doubt it. None of the other dark ones had the sword to tether the darkness to others or, ya know, Merlin to take the darkness from. Or whatever happened.

I don’t think it MADE him evil. I just think in his anger, he’s choosing revenge against Emma. He is choosing the dark route himself because of what she did. I honestly don’t buy how that works but *shrug* I mean I get him being angry about being a dark one but enough to want to hurt Emma???
Also, the fact that Hook hasn’t heard voices in his head or demonstrated dark magic tendencies is ridiculous. Are we really supposed to believe he didn’t know he had dark magic?
