I can understand if Emma is seeing an apparition of Rump’ because she is, like, going crazy the darkness is tempting her to do bad things. But not teaching her to do bad things.
Because wouldn’t that mean Zoso appeared to Rump when he was the dark one to teach him?

Genie being imprisoned in the lamp? That wasn’t his happy ending, that was a terrible imprisonment….his happy ending was being free at the end of the Aladdin movie. So unless this does like Maleficent, and show his origins but also show the Aladdin movie where he gains his happy ending….I can’t see how else this would be a great movie.
I figure the genie did a heroic sacrifice. He took the place of someone he loved, set them free and took their place as a genie. So while its not a happy ending, it’d be good because he did something good and we as the audience knows he himself will eventually be set free….. In 10,000 years if I remember. But yeah.

I mean Aladdin is one of my top three fave Disney films. To learn more about the genie is going to be exciting. And I have hope that it will be better than the Descendants movie since its a Disney film and not a Disney CHANNEL film. And plus…this is GENIE, it’ll be hilarious. And Maleficent was a Disney prequel that was really well done. So yeah. I will be looking forward to this…but I will be weary for one sole reason: Who plays Genie? Ofcourse, no one can top Robin Williams. James Inglehart did a great, and different take on the character. So I just hope whoever they choose really captures the spirit of the character, not just as was portrayed in the Disney film,but with a new take like in the broadway version.

It was funny and I likedit….but it just seemed a bit corny.
The Belle Rump scene I am okay with but it really makes Rump seem like a…. mean guy.
The final scene was nice.

I think her staff was actually his staff. I could see Zelena going to meet him as well but at the same time…. It seems hard to get into contact with him. Ingrid could only get him to make a deal because she had his hat. And apprentice (sheds does that guy have a name?) said Merlin doesn’t make deals with evil folk. So hmmmmm.
