It like literally the brightest bright heart we have seen since Henry plopped his out to give to Pan. I think its safe to say that the roles will be reversed. EMMA will ikely be the addict trying to steal Gold’s heart for her own magical reasons (a heart void of all darkness has a nice powerful magical ring to it) and Gold will be playing the hero role for now I think.
Although it feels like a cheat if they go this route. Rump never changed, he just got his heart vaccummed and now he is all good. To me, that’s no different than having the author write him as a hero.

But come on. We can’t have Lancelot without Merlin. And vice versa.
Although, I am not as learned in Arthuian legends so maybe we can?
Anywhoo should we really be expecting an old beared dude as Merlin? I want to say Adam and Eddy should take some creative license with him, BUT THEN AGAIN Merlin is an iconic figure and changing his signature style would be like *insert funny analogy here* <—- im lazy today >> But yeah…. Plus I cant seriously take old bearded men seriously. But then again, I also DONT want them to change his look. But then I do. Ehhh….

Here are my queries about the darkness:
– What Is it? An entity? A human person who got hold of the wrong kind of magic? Evil Incarnate, the opposite of Emma who is the incarnate of true love?
– So… The darkness is stronger than the sorcerer? It seems the sorcerer couldn’t destroy it so he contained it. When they tried to suck the darkness into the hat, it stil managed to get free. So the darkness must be way more powerful than the most powerful.
– The darkness wanted to consume all realms. So where did it come from? I mean, I’ve heard of alien super things doing so but they usually come from different places I think Gahlactus (sp?) would be a good example). So that Aladdin poster in “Heart of Gold” really might have just been product placement for the Aladdin Broadway musical, and not foreshadowing for Season 5.
Eh. There is still time. I firmly suspect Dark Emma and Sorcerer Merlin are just the covers to the real villain. Like how we knew the QoD were coming smd then the author was the real major villain. So its possible an Aladin character could still be the real villain.
