“If anything could turn Zelena into a more sympathetic character–it’s a baby”
Zelena has done some pretty horrible things including Murder, Kidnap,(babynap?), Identity Theft and various other things. How on Earth is a baby going to make us, the audience, forget all those things and SYMPATHIZE with her. I’m sorry A&E but you are doing it wrong. Actually, I’m not sorry. I have words i’d love to say but RG would destroy me >.<
Now, I am not a mother (dear God *shudder* >.<) but I do believe a child can bring out the better in someone and cause a change in the way they do things and they way they go about life. BUT no, not like this. Zelena is….no. I believe she can change but a baby is not the thing to do it. She’s choosing to have one to hold her sisters man to her and to cause emotional turmoil between her sister and her sisters TL. She’s having this child out of purely evil intentions. That is not sympathetic at all.
But I have to say though…. I am interested in seeing how this will turn out even though I know its a trainwreck waiting to happen.

It was only due to popular demand that Emilie de Ravin was even promoted to series regular in S2.
I actually wouldn’t be surprised that this is the case. Charming was supposed to be dead, afterall. Heck this could even explain why Belle gets so little screentime, they have nothing planned for her to do.
After Neal died, the writers decided to forget about all of Rumple’s character growth and sacrifice. They reset Rumple’s character, but instead of showing his descent and struggle with darkness as he lost a moral grip, they had him just straight back into full villain mode. And Belle got in the way of that. So, the writers instead went down the path of an emotionally abusive relationship and showed the destruction of a marriage. I was all for Rumbelle once, and I enjoyed Skin Deep. But I didn’t want them to get married until after Rumple’s dark one curse has been lifted by TLK. Until then, it was always going to be an unhealthy relationship because Rumple an addict and he has all the power in the relationship. Belle was put in the subordinate and weaker role of being his enabler by turning a blind eye. That was why I actually was glad when Belle stood up for herself and left that unhealthy dynamic, because Rumple mistreated her repeatedly (and still is like when he tricked her to get back into town and to get his dagger back). Rumple is like Golem with the ring; the dagger is the dark one’s “precious.” Until Rumple chooses Belle over power, (something I no longer have hope over), I don’t think there can ever be a romantic reconciliation, nor should there be one. And I think Rumple’s days are numbered, such that even if Rumple chooses Belle over magic in the end, he might still die a mortal death.

And even so, what problems that do stem up for them wont really be a thing until next season.
OQ I think will still end on a positive note and they will continue to deal with the Zelena situation next year. Its not an immediate or dangerous thing to them when you really think about it.
Snowing will be fine because they are Snowing.
CS will be mostly fine. The obstacle they’ll face will be Dark Emma which is next season and I don’t even think that will be a season long thing (as in Emma will be dark for about 3-4 episodes and then a new villain arises that pushes her back to the hero side so yeah).
Im sure no one has anything to worry about.
Except Rumbellers. And ScarletQueen fans.

I agree 1 million billion zillion percent. A&E are trying to create drama and this is not the way.
2. Zelena has a miscarriage or the baby is magically disappeared- All a plot device so OQ get their happy ending whilst being insensitive to certain issues.
Didn’t this happen with Cole/Phoebe on Charmed when she got pregnant an the baby was like pure evil…. She had a miscarriage right? Or was the baby magically stolen and put into the womb of the other evil lady who was then destroyed? hmm… either, I think the baby died somehow and I don’t believe anyone mourned over it all.
I think the #3 option for this is that RH and Regina let Zelena go back to the EF and raise her baby there (no, I have no idea how she gets back. But portals are apparently all the rage lately. Ariel can take her or something equally silly).
There is currently a working portal to the EF in the Sorcerer’s mansion that goes to Arendelle. Zelena could use it and then fly back to Regina’s castle to live in or fly back to Oz (as I suspect her broomstick can travel lands).

I guess they are using the same for Zelena.

Zelena was lonely and cray cray. I could imagine her using that dagger to summon Stiltskin in the middle of the night and…..yeah. I mean, honestly, would you put it past her? She was obviously attracted to Rump and maybe even in love with him, and was clearly open to the idea of them being….ahem, intimate on that kitchen table. And now she had ultimate power over him to FORCE him to do whatever she wanted. Rumpel was to Zelena what Graham was to Regina.

The Author will rewrite the stories, henry will have to write them back into play using the heart of the truest believer somehow. But naturally, something will go wrong because of drama and something else will be unleashed.
