[*] I know they immediately retconned his name on Twitter and again in this episode, but I’m sticking with “Walt” because it’s too soon for retcons.
They didn’t retcon his name. When August mentioned ” a man named Walt” he wasn’t referring to Author, he meant Walt Disney, who was once an author before current Author. Author’s name is Isaac.
The only thing though…I wish having the ink spilled on her could have had more of an effect on Cruella rather than just turning her hair color. Like that’s the magic ink that writes/rewrites history and all it does is change her hair…seriously???
Its a subtle change but it changed her hair and voice it seems. She looks very different if you look closely, more….cruel. But yeah, I agree, it should have been bigger.

Sorcerer is the Genie from Aladdin.
Genie is the most powerful Disney being there is. It wouldn’t be too crazy.

It definetly sounds familiar to me. When he says the word “entwined” it sounds…so familiar, but the end part sounds like James Ear Jones still. Idk. My money is on JEJ.

Nope. She was surprised to find out the Sorcerer was in SB so no, she cant be him. Unless she is him? *shrug* idk with this show anymore…..

I don’t recall them ever saying that in any interview. I remember it being a theory posted by some of us, so maybe you’re confusing fan theories with actual spoilers.
I may not be 100% on this but im like 87% sure this came from the mouths of the beasts themselves. Awhile before the first episode of this half. I recall that I said “maybe she is wearing a yeti or a bigfoot” or something to that degree. I’ll see if I can dig it up.

Cruella now ranks as one of my favorite villains on this show
YESSS!!!! She was so amazing!!!! And it only goes to show what I personally think about all the villains on this show: the best ones don’t have tragic backstories.
