Off topic but I just got around to listenting to that review of OUAT by Barbara Bennet  (is that her name? I keep forgetting and im too lazy to look >>) anyway, I was thinking about what she said about the author being revealed to be, like, us. Like we are the authors of our own destinies and all that and while the idea isn’t new (a lot of us have said that as an idea) am I the only one who thinks that might be kinda of…terrible?

I don’t mean to rant but okay, I get it we really are the authors of our destiny. We make our own choices that determine our futures and always have the option to do good rather than evil despite our pasts and a lot of villains have given up their evil ways to become the hero. Plus I find the idea that somewhere there is someone who writes our entire life for us in some book and that they really have to go and find that person and ask them to write a better story. Like is there an alternative? If they give us the whole “The power was within you all along” shtick I just find that horribly anticlimactic. But then if they show us there really is someone out there writing out peoples lives, I find that weird and creepy and just REALLY scary. I cant be pleased either way T_T >> *sits in dark corner*

Okay so I know im late but here I go:

1)Favorite episode of 4A?

So I tried to figure out which episodes were my favorite and least favorite…. But honestly I couldn’t. This season, while I did like a good bit of it, is the only one that I just couldn’t…idk, it just wasn’t all that. I really cant pinpoint why, I just feel a lot didn’t really happen to move the story that much further >> like, okay, we got a bit more backstory for Emma but other than that, most of the stuff was frozen-ish and what wasn’t frozen-ish that actually applies to the main characters (the author, regina and robin actually meeting, the sorcerer, etc) wont be touched on until 4B. So yeah, idk what my favorite episode was but I will just go with Heroes and Villains because the queens of darkensss were just awesome. And for the Belle/Rump scene.

3) Overall thoughts on the Frozen storyline? Pointless. It feels odd for me to say that because I jumped up and down when Elsa appeared out of that urn, but really though I think I could have done without all of it and just been fine. I loved the story, I guess. I just wanted more OUAT and less Frozen.

4) Favorite moment or arc within 4A? Belle casts out Rumpel! I was SO worried that Belle would just be some kind of doormat and do nothing but Belle made a boss move in what she did and it was the right thing to do even though I know it probably tore her heart apart to do it. This was hands down the BEST scene of 4A. 

5) Best Frozen Adapted Character? Kristoff. He was the only character who seemed like he was the exact copy of his Disney version. Elsa was kinda too dependent on Anna at points. Anna was a wee bit “flighty” as someone said. I would actually say Pappie (?) was the best but I think that’s cheating 😛

6) Final Grade for 4A: C+ It wasn’t terrible. I’m just not dying to rewatch it ever again. This is the first season of OUAT where I wasn’t constantly playing episodes over and over again. Like, there was one epsode I replayed like three or four times and I cant even remember which it was -.- this season was okay. No great, just good enough. I hope the second half proves to be more interesting and judging by what we know so far, it will be.

5. Ruth- Ruth lost points for giving up one of her twin boys at birth to save the farm.

Hmmm… but did she know James would be raised by royalty? I mean im not a parent, but I think I could sleep easier at night knowing that the child would be raised by someone who could definetly give it the life I couldn’t rather than…ya know… not knowing whether or not Rump would eat it >_> its one thing to just hand the baby over, but its more understandable if she knew where it was going because, again, shes handing over to the Dark One. For all she knew he could have wanted to eat it or use its organs for a potion. I think she did what she could. If she didn’t she’s hve had to raise two children while being homeless. But idk. Im not a mother….

Watcher, I would have to agree with your list, but I’d put Emma up there right under Snowing. Even though she gave up Henry, ever since she reunited with him, she’s tried to be the best mom she can be

Plot Twist: Galavant actually takes place in a realm within the Onceverse. At the end of the season, we will get some kind of small reference to either the sorcerer, author, or a known world from OUAT, like someone says they will go into hiding in a magical place called Mist Haven etc. I don’t see why the show cant take place in the some continuity 😛

1.) Snowing. Im going with them first because of all the parents I can think of, their issues are very minor (trying to take away Emma’s powers for example). So i’ll say they are top.

2) Amara. She was willing to break the laws of magic itself to free her sons. She was one bad*bleep* mama. I really liked her.

3) Rump. This took some thought, but Rump is a…generally…okay parent. He loves Bae, that much is true, but he still has hints of selfishness and lying when it comes to his son as well. So I give him second place.

4.) Cora. She reminds me of one of those moms who always enter their daughters into child beauty pagaents even though its clear that’s not what the daughter wants.

5) The Sultan. The way he treated his own son was terrible. And not only that. He tried to KILL him!!!! I cant even with this man. Im not saying he got what he deserved, but I shed no tears for him >_>

6.) Pan. I think he wins the Worst Parent of OUAT Award simply because he has no reason to be the way he is. He was just simply….horrible T_T willing to kill his child, grandchild, and great-grandchild all for power. He is definetly the worst hands down.

Dumbledore/McGonagall: Well I liked them together and thought they had a past. Obviously I was about that one!

I never thought about this but I could hop aboard this ship. I recall reading more about McGonagall’s past on Pottermore and how kind and compassionate Dumbledore was to her in her time of need (when he found her crying in the classroom) and I was just like….. :'( if nothing else, there were extremely great friends
