i didn’t say dying. I’m saying following Henry from now on in a new direction isn’t the end of the world all because JMO wants to move on. If anything you should be blaming her for not wishing to return, not A&E.
Any of the fans are free to keep it trucking if they have such an issue instead of constantly repeating how much they don’t think the show will survive without Emma. Like… It’s happening…. At the end of the day those same fans are going to be tuning in Friday nights at 8.
But seriously what is Adam even saying. Curtain Call means
the appearance of the performers at the conclusion of a theatrical or other performance in response to the applause of the audience.
So Emma is taking her bow to this show or this show is at its end and everyone is or what? I think Adam needs to take a hint and buy a vowel:

I predict it will be very bad and cause a lot of controversy. Nobody in the GA will like this I’m sure and Emma is easily one of the most popular characters in the show. This is not a Neal or Robin situation. This will probably destroy their s7 before it even takes off. Audiences won’t even give the reboot a chance if they kill off Emma, cause what was the point of the first 6 seasons? There was none clearly if this was all for nothing. They need to retain as much as their audience as possible, they cannot afford massive viewerdrops but doing something like this will do exactly that.
Idk. I agree the best way to down all this is to see it as a new show. I feel like the people who stuck around this far are probably in it for the long haul and just because Emma isn’t coming back I don’t think that means a massive legion of fans are suddenly going to boycott or something.
I means, it’s the next generation. A lot of fans joked about having a spinoff where Henry was the main character with all the other kids of the other fairytale people. Surely we wouldn’t have expected Emma to be the star of that.
Jmo served this show way more than they deserved and finally she is taking her bow and passing the torch. I think the GA is going to just accept it and the rabid fans will complain no matter what at this point because A&E have created such a divisive fandom with their bad writing skills. This is a great opportunity to reinvent the show and win new viewers and go in new directions. I’m here for it y’all.

I think maybe they’ve planned to the mid-season finale but not the finale
Sure but if they known that’s JMO was leaving since before the finale of last season and they have had all this time, logic would dictate they would see if she was open to return for more than one episode be itbthe finale or others. It seems JMO agreed to one episode and that alone.
They don’t have plans for her to return because she isn’t returning. That much has been clear to them for far longer than it has to us. It’s not the end of the world that Emma isn’t returning. Her chapter in this story has ended and it ended nicely.
They were asked and they answered. I think to try to bend any other answer out of them at this stage is pointless. JMO doesn’t wish to be apart of this show anymore (who can blame her?) and agreed to an episode. She said that long ago. A&E just confirmed she will not be returning outside that episode. That’s sad but that’s it. I would be surprised if she filmed a secret scene for the finale. But idk. I feel like they would have been more shady with that “nope” if so.

It’s mot really a matter of what they want. JMO doesn’t wish to return. She said one episode. They said she will only be in one episode. I think we should just accept that.
