What is their issue with the Dark One?
I think they just want to prevent the Dark Ones from gaining an object that will make them even more powerful than they already are. Dark Ones apparently aren’t known for being the helpful and benevolent sort.
Who is the Apprentice? Who does he work for? Besides sweeping what does does he do
My guess is his name, atleast in SB, is Mickey. He is probably a poweful sorcerer all on his own and acts as the protector of the hat. He says every Dark One has tried to get it so he must be VERY old. Heck. The hat may have belonged to the first Dark One.
Is anyone else bothered that every season we get a new “thing” that is somehow more powerful than the Dark One? Blue Fair was supposedly more powerful. The magic cuff. The Black Fairy’s Wand And now the Enchantment around the hat I still think the Sorcerer is probably Yen Sid / Walt Disney
1.) I think Blue really is more powerful. She’s just shady. 2.) Same with black fairy. She is probably the first Dark One. 3.) I dont think the enchantment is more powerful, I just think the spell protecting the hat is something rump couldn’t get around because it prevented him from getting near it. With a bit of cleverness, Rump got around it using Anna’s tears. The cuff thing though, yeah.

First, I don’t get why he is so into regina’s plan to change fate. Henry seems like he’d be the one person telling her what she is doing is evil or “cheating” and that she shouldn’t go down that route but just work toward being better. Then, its odd how he just pushes Emma to asking Hook out. Given the things going on with Regina, it seems to me that Henry is trying to keep Emma out of his way or occupied. THEN there was the dialogue about how Rump MUST have figured out a way to change his fate because now he is married to Belle. It just didn’t make sense… Idk. I’m sorry guys, but I’m calling it now:
Henry is up to no good. He’s manipulating everyone. He’s keeping Emma occupied, working with Regina under the guise that he is helping her for her happy ending, and tricking Rumpel into employing him so that he can snoop around the shop. Even that last shot of Henry sweeping in the shop was eerily shady…. I honestly think Henry has plans. Idk what they are but I feel there is more going on here.

I just read a thing that went something along the lines of: “When you think about it, Neal isn’t the backbone of the show. Hook is. If Hook never ran off with Mila, Rumpel would never have become the Dark One, causing Bae to runaway, which gave Rumpel the need for the curse. Hook is the start of this whole series.”

Depends. Neal left Emma not because he was the son of Rumpel (we didn’t even find that out until later) but because it was what he had to do. He loved her, cared for her, all that. But he had to leave to allow he to fulfill a destiny. So in my book, he didn’t do anything wrong and Adam already said he didn’t put emma in jail, he just didn’t show up. So yes, I would still ship them. Now if he was just some random guy who used her to take the fall for him, definetly not. Heck, even if he was Rumps son and he used her to take the fall for him, id probably say no. Luckily, that isn’t the case 🙂
Would Hook and Emma be shipped together if Hook WASN’T played by Colin O’Donoghue but by an older actor closer to the age of Hook’s traditional characterisation but the storyline and actions we’ve seen of Hook so far remain the same?
Probably not. I know a lot of CS fans got all p’d off when we say they only ship them because Colin is hot, but for a lot of the General Audiences, the people who don’t look as deep into OUAT as we do here, they only like Hook because he is hot. If he were played by the actor who played George his actions toward Emma would be creepy. Hooks attractiveness gains him a lot of fans. Take that away and not many would care.

Even if they dont bring Neal back, there are ways. But, in my head, all that really comes down to the final season. Thats why I still dont believe CS is endgame or that they will just end up together with eachother ALIVE. I think they’ll keep hook alive to keep the viewers watching but come final season when it doesn’t matter, they’ll kill him and Emma can go back to being that strong independent single mother princess Disney never had.
*shipper goggles on* Now when it comes to Neal, they could ALWAYS bring him back last minute and put him with Emma and Henry even if Hook is still in the picture. My OTP in TrueBlood was very similar. In the fourth season, Hoyt got his memory wiped by his vampire lover Jessica, got sent off to Alaska by her where he married a new woman and lived a happy life, and was no where to be seen or heard of for 3 seasons while Jessica had a few serious relationships and one that seemed to be endgame. They said Hoyt was never coming back and my otp was split and seemingly dead for THREE SEASONS!!! And then on the final season….he came back, wife and all, and he and Jessica got married. (his wife got with his bestfriend and Jessica’s boyfriend turned out to be gay so yeah >_>) So I have a bit of hope for Swanfire still locked up inside. If A&E are intelligent and if they believe in the story they were trying to tell in the first place they can make it work.

There’s not much that I watch where I’m too involved in shipping (the closet was TrueBlood where I went from Team Bill to Team Eric to Team This Woman Needs A Chastity Belt) but never was it anything close to what OUAT has created with its fans. With some of the more popular shows like Supernatural or…Glee…(is glee still a thing? idk what the kids are hip to these days anymore >_>) were fans so divided in their ships? Or is OUAT just special?
