I agree with everything WR said. For me, anything other then Henry being the one to unfreeze emma’s heart is not acceptable. Henry, or her parents and Henry combined in a big ole True Love’s Group Hug (hey, who said true love only had to be kisses :P). Alot of us are barely holding on to this show and having THAT happen so quickly after Neal dying, and ya kno, just starting a relationship. Yeah, no. Just no. I am hoping A&E have more sense than that.
everyone in the cast, excluding Colin and Jmo, act like they simply dont care anymore, and just want to finish averything as soon as possible, RC and EDR may want to get new jobs, Josh and Ginny, want to educate their son in peace, Lana that is now married, maybe who knows maybe have kids besides her step sons, jared maybe want to look for other things, go back to home and has school, only Colin and Jmo get more publicity with this.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed. Also, wasn’t Jared going to play Young Bruce Wayne in Gotham? I recall reading that I think.

But eventually they turn into very close best friends, and learn they’re the two sides of the same coin, and learn from one another, changing each other for the better. That would be a new Disney Twist where it involves absolutely no prince charming or princess to fall in love, and blah, blah, blah….

I was thinking more on the princess who isnt traditionally beautiful…. When it comes to Fiona, the thing is even though she is green..and an ogre. She’s still rather pretty. Gorgeous actually. But do you think kids would relate to a character who looked like this:
Kidding. But not really 😛 u get the point. I can name a few less than attractive characters, but those are usually targeted more at males. Do you guys think young girls would be interested in this kind of princess, or would want to dress up as a princess who didnt have the long flowy hair or the sparkles, etc? Just food for thought. Maybe thats why we have never had an unnattractive princess. Ever.

If I were to do it, the princess wouldn’t be misunderstood, or evil because pf something someone did to her. She would be the way she is because its her doing. She likes being wicked. She likes causing pain and turmoil for others. I would even go so far to say that she doesn’t even powers or magic so that her evil is more human and understandable.
I’d start out with a traditional Disney villain type. This princess probably usurped the throne, or just made herself a princess where their previously was no princess like what Maleficent did. She’d cause bad things for everyone under her dominion and along the way she actually begins to feel remorseful for what she has done. Perhaps the movie would be her journey to making amends for the wrong she has done. The people wouldn’t be so willing to accept her. But she tries and tries to male up for her evil, owning up to it, facing it, and taking the consequences. There is a lot that can be done with this.
The only problem is that the princess can’t be TOO evil. We have to see something redeemable in her in order to ‘like her, so she can’t kill her parents for the throne, or ya know, murder someone outright. Although, if she does, perhaps the persons ghost could come back and sort of be aide character someone who urges her tp stop her evil and in the end she asks for forgiveness, they forgive her for killing them and their spirit os able to move on. I’d. I’m babbling 😛 but yeah, id really like to see that.
Also, one more thing. With this particular princess, id stress that she has to be a princess and NOT a Queen. I believe it was the nostalgia critic who pointed that usually most queens are evil and old while princesses are good, younger, and beautiful. So it’d be a nice inversion.

Funny Regina feels she has to find the book’s authors to rewrite herself a happy ending –wonder if Adam and Eddy are planning some actual self-insertion cameos? The story already WAS rewritten Regina, its just a temporary story setback to keep tension and suspense for the season, don’t worry! Evil…I mean, former evil that’s now good, but somehow lacking in empathy and compassion and concern for anyone else beyond one’s own happy ending, always wins! I also fully predict some Regina/Emma TLK as a surface parallel to Elsa and Anna, but chock-full of subtext for SQers, just what they did with Mulan/Aurora, but then just before CSers flip tables –Jones will propose to Emma and she will say yes. Then SQers can rant a but then repeat its TRUE LOVE, TRUE LOVE! Meanwhile, the rest of SF shippers will ….change nothing, because it’s already so far down the drain what’s the point? BUT….if there’s a big enough hue and cry, if the writers see the ratings slip, in their back pocket they can have Rumple being sneaky, and magic, whatever, bring back Neal, Graham, and Hatter and end with a big question mark LOST style bloodbath leading to wish fulfillment where everyone dies, but everyone’s been reborn in different versions of the stories, in different combinations –a very meta take on fanfiction reinventing stories as they happen.

It seems all the princess are stringkingly beautiful from birth. A film about a princess who doesn’t fit that role could send the message of the whole “beauty is on the inside and don’t judge a book by it’s cover” thing.
