I wouldn’t be surprised. The exact same thing happened with Megara and Hercules in the tv series. They met, and at the end of the episode they both lost their memory so as to not contridict them meeting for the first time on the actual movie.

I agree with both Matt and WR. While I am also interested in seeing Emma and Elsa together as friends (or maybe enemies. Dun dun daaaa) Regina needs a good friend she can relate to especially now with Tink being gone. Plus Elsa has some advice on her Robin/Marian situation 😛

But….you know what, I used to think it was just because I’m an Evil Regal, but social media has shown Once Fans having more interest in Regina and Elsa interaction. I mean Two Queens who both once felt like prisoners in their own kingdom, great magical power, obvious history with Rumpelstilskin, both let it go, one is ice and the other is fire, and both have sisters…..(sigh), I mean that’s a lot to bond about over a nice cup of tea

I think its both. Maleficent is a pretty major Disney villain. They hardly used her in the first season, and with what little time she had, she cleary had a story (whats the deal with the unicorn? why did she target aurora’s mother? why is she…nice? why is keeping the dark curse and other dark magic safe from others?). So, yeah, I think they actually do have something planned for Mal that True Blood prevented them from revealing. Now that True Blood is done (and ive shed my tears over its finale :() and that Maleficent’s movie was a pretty big deal, its a perfect time to bring her back in.
