Well last year we got the clip of Ariel (not an actual scene from the show but still) and the tear before, didn’t they show the clip of Hook breaking into Golds shop and taking his hook? And also last year they showed a clip of Rumpel and Felix. I just assumed we’d get something like that

I understand what you are getting at NealFan. Zelena Did magic that broke the laws of magic and the eand was able to redo it (even in the past at that!!) even while the laws were put back into place. Even though the laws of magic are in place again, resurrections, time travel, and love spells were all done previously and so therefore the wand CAN recreate them (however technically the only person who can use resurrection or love spells would be jafar). So yeah. The wand CAN defy the laws of magic to those who have done it already. So if jafar cones back he is all powerful again if hr gets his hands on that wand (remember the only person who could do the time travel was Emma or Hook because they actually used the time portal so i assume its that way for other spells too) but again, I doubt they will use It to resurrect Neal of all people. And to add to this, there has to be a reason they kept Jafar alive. When he comes back this may be his plot.

Even though the laws of magic were returned to normal that is not relevant to the description of the wands actions. The wand is described as having the ability to recreate any magic that has ever been wielded. Because that magic was wielded…it can be recreated. Emma did not have to break the magic law of time travel. All she had to do was use the wand to return.

But the Black Fairies wand isn’t the same as the one Robin stole. Robin stole the wand of the Fairy Godmother, and we saw when Rumpel took possession of that wand in S1 and killed the godmother fairy. Chronologically, the two wands can’t be the same. Rump didn’t have the fairy godmother wand until after Snow and Charming were together but based on what he said in the S3 finale he already possessed the black fairies wand. So yeah, the two wands dont seem to be the same one and plus they said we haven’t seen the black fairy yet and we have seen the fairy godmother so they can’t be the same wands

Lol, I knew it the moment he stepped on screen. How did I know? He had sideburns and all evil people have sideburns xD with that line of logic in my head, I paid attention to everything he said including his verses in his song with Ana and it was all filled with foreshadowing. I wasn’t fooled for one second.

As input here, what Jafar and Amara did COULD be replicated with three more genies. I don’t think Cyrus and his bros were the only genies in existence. We know Sydney was a genie probably before they ever were. So I think its POSSIBLE to recreate what jafar did. I doubt the writers will go down that line

To be perfectly honest and not to try all deep with it. Rumple Drink the potion and the Emma didn’t try to save Neal because the writers wanted the viewers to see why Neal can’t be brought back. They wanted to kill the hope of the viewer who thought they are going to bring Neal back with the bttf stuff. And all that Don’t let his sacrifice be in vain mumbo jumbo. Its not that deep. Its nothing more then the writers explaining why Neal ain’t coming back but its okay look at the shiny stuff Rumbelle wedding, CS kiss, Snowing baby named Prince Neal, oh and look at this juicy stuff A NEW OUTLAW QUEEN TRIANGLE, and the best, the best of all FROZEN. Arn’t we just super highschool pep rally cool. I would love to see those who love Neal remember him. I fully believe part of Rumple’s arch is to come to terms with his son death and then move towards the Future with Belle. And I think he will be connected the most with Neal. Henry may mention his father and might be tied with Rumple at least one episode as part of the whole Rumple moving forward with Belle and distantly looking after Henry in the background sort of way. Emma is through living in the past a conclusion she came to two days after the funeral. So if she is shown connected to Neal, its either going to reinforce the whole he died a hero/sacrifice line or to show how bad Neal was compared to the totally super terrific awesome perfect groovy irresistible Hook. And I think that what upset some of us Neal fans the most, that they may only mention Neal to sully his name or solidify that he is dead because dead is dead while at the same time they are bringing someone else back from the dead. I don’t mind genuine heartfelt tangible written scenes of characters remembering him but the fear amongst some of us is that’s not what we are going to get. We are going to get the former stuff mentioned above. So some rather Neal be forgotten then to have them spit on his grave.

*sigh* All of this :/ to be honest, the only people who would even care are Henry and Rumpel. Like Ranisha said, Emma is done with that past and when it comes down to Henry, that could be 50/50. For all we know, the writers may choose to completely have Henry ready to accept his fathers passing and welcome Hook with open arms like Bae was just…a non-factor….. *sigh*

I don’t blame Rumple for drinking the potion since he has to in order to maintain the timeline and make everything happen as it should.

This is iffy for me. I agree with both options and can understand them but at that time on the past, Rump is willing to sacrifice all of the enchanted forest to retrieve his son… Then someone tells him, yeah you’ll get your son but he will die, and rump is just totally fine with that? Honestly, I would have expected him to take some other action.

HOWEVER: Rump surely knows, just as the seer told him, that what will happen will happen despite his actions to change it so he may have just deduced that there was nothing he could do would rather continue on without knowing this bit of the future. So yeah, to me its both out of character yet compeltely in character spending on how you want to see it.
