GOOD:
– Some of the costumes were a bit of a much needed upgrade.
– “Whats My Name” is absolutely the best song of the entire movie. The only song I actually liked.
– The epic OCTOPUS MONSTER VS DRAGONESS BATTLE! I LOOOOOOVVVVEEE IT!!!!!!!!!!
BAD:
– Girl, the whole dang movie. Its worse than the first…. Because I actually think the first was actually decent (it wasn’t as bad as I thought and looking back at my previous review, I liked a lot of things about it). This was just….bleh. It had so much potential but failed.
– Mal gives up her magic? Uh, why? I don’t agree that Auradon has to be a magicless society, especially because a lot of these people are magical creatures AND used magic for good. I would have preferred if Mal stops using magic to pretend to be someone she isn’t, but sheesh.
– The dancing is still atrocious. The music is atrocious.
– Lumiere was in this movie. Did u guys catch that?
– So…..Uma just goes back to the island to be unhappy and evil forever? Are we going to pretend this is okay? Is this a sequel Hook for descendants 3? Please, no.
– This movie was really, really, really boring. Like it was 2 hours of…..nothing. The characters are crap, the story was eh, the music was bad, and the only good part of the climax was the badly CGI’d battle, which I love, but isn’t awesome enough to carry the whole movie.
Yeah, so I rate this movie……5/10. Wont be watching again, probably.

It reminds me of the title card that has the emerald city on the background, which is one of my favorites.

No, but seriously, her dress looks mildly similar to the one from the live action Disney movie. I wonder if that’s intentional. Not a lot like it, but similar. Hmm.

I’m…..kind of intrigued by this….. There are different versions of lots of stories told all across the world….hmmm… I’d love to see a more story accurate version of the little mermaid… Or even Snow White….. Maybe not Sleeping Beauty though.
Having more Disney accurate versions of some characters (like Rapunzel) would be fun, but it would also be really cool to have darke versions of others aswell. But my biggest optimistic view about this:
IT WILL HELP US SEE THIS SHOW AS SOEMTHING ENTIRELY SEPERATE AND DIFFERENT THAN THE PREVIOUS OUAT.
If we have a new Cinderella, new snow white, new everyone, we can all just pretend this is a different show altogether.
With Emma only being there in 1ep how will Hook act
The fact they even decided to ask this question is lowkey hilarious. If Hook’s really a changed man, his actions shouldn’t be dependent on whether or not Emma is present. Same issue I have with Rumpel.

Yeah, the Hook we know. This is a new, cursed, memory-less Hook. So he will have eyes for someone else? Great. I bet a thousand cookies Hook is gonna be written as ship-bait once more this season, falling for some woman is obviously a villain. Henry will have to convince him to leave her because his true love is really Emma, blah blah. Gah. I had hope for this guy this season.

I hope they announce she isn’t, so people can accept we are moving on to a new story and get over it already.

Yeah, I’m sure this season is going to have several parallel characters. Like a mayor character who is the HWIC (Head W’iatch In Charge) like Regina and a secretive, mysterious, quiet slightly villainous and extremely powerful character like Rumple. We already have our new Henry, which is Lucy.
