Ariel’s home could be the Mermaid Lagoon in NL. We didn’t get to see that and we aren’t sure where the shore Regina & Rumple was was located. Nor did we find out if Ariel was related to the nasty mermaids from 3×1.
Isn’t that kind of racist to assume all mermaids are related 😛 kidding. As for the following Eric around for 38 years, I think after Eric left to travel the world she eventually lost track of him. Ariel is confined to the water afterall. I think sometime during that year or the next after Regina tool her voice, Snowing got married and Regina casted the curse, and Ariel probably didn’t even know Eric was gone because she was at home crying >> can mermaids even cry >> I mean we saw Ariel cry in the cartoon and in Once but the logic doesn’t make sense >>

She was trapped in the bubble like Cora and Hook.
I thought it was because Ariel has been in Neverland for the past 30 odd years, and in NL, no one ages because time stands still.

Judging from the fact that Regina told her to swim back home, and that she told Snow to travel to her land, I assumed Ariel was in a different land. Atlantica. So I was questioning whether or not she would age because why would she still have been in the EF, when she has no reason to be. Eric is gone and it seems like she never even saw him again after that situation. I like the bubble idea tho, RG. It fits for me

Even though Rumple says they wouldn’t be able to break the curse there would have to be some way. Everything that Adam and Eddy said in that scared me. In other words yes everyone is going to be seperated and lose their memories and there will be no way to break the curse.
See, if this was the final season, I would be scared. But we know there must be a way!!! Idk how, but their must be. What else can break curses besides True Love? Science?

You’re not imagining things. Her hair does look similar to another EQ look. Like Watcher said I’m reminded of 209, QoH.
The part of the dress matches that episodes wardrobe. Perhaps they got back Barbara to film some scenes for WL and Once 😛

From what we have seen, a lot of lands have a body part they can detach. We’ve seen hearts been removed and the person still survived (for almost 30 years in Wills case) Jeff has his head chopped off and he apparently had it reattached. I think its safe to say if they drop that shadow back in Blues body, she will revive.
