What if the big twist in the story is that the WWW got the shoes back from Dorothy? Jefferson said RUMORS said the shoes had left the land. (specially “heard talk they’ve already been moved to another land”) but we don’t know that they actually were. So what if the WWW succeed in getting the shoes back from Dorothy and that’s how she is able to move.

I agree with the twist part. In the Wicked books (atleast in the first and second book) people only speculated that Dorothy actually went home, and that the shoes had the power to do so (the only magical power they really had was assisting Nessarose, the witch of the east, in standing and walking by herself since she was born without arms) and some people thought Dorothy was still in Oz somewhere prattling on >> But then again, Neal did say the shoes could world jump so idk..

She is using the pendant to hide what she truly looks like v.v just like in the movie. I guarantee Emma will snatch it off and we will either see: A.) Green ugly hag known as the Witch Of The West, B.) Yellow ugly hag known as the witch of the east, or C.) a female Dark One who may be either of the former witches

About the red coat, In Oz The Great And Powerful, before the wicked witch was evil she was just a nice girl named Theodora who fell in love with the wizard. It was her evil sister (Evanora, future wicked witch of the east) who gave her a magic green apple and turned her green and evil. BEFORE she was evil, Theodora wore mostly red.

 She draws her magic from her ruby ring. Whenever she uses magic in the film, it glows red. There is a theory that after Evanora lost her power by Glinda breaking her emerald necklace, Theodra will use the ruby ring to make the shoes. I am 95% certain thatvif this woman is wearing a red coat with the shoes, she is Theodora.

And yes, I am aware that I have said. I just wanted to include that with the red coat, chances are increased that she is the Wicked Witch of The West

Ya know, just because she has the slippers, this woman could almost be any of the Ozian women >>

She could be:

Glinda, who now that she has risen as the ultimate power in Oz with all the other witches dead and the wizard gone has taken the slippers and decided to move her reign to different lands.

Dorothy, who has survived Oz and with the slippers has survived the years and now found others like herself (fairytales) living in our land.

Wicked Witch of The East, who was the original owner of the shoes, and wears a green emerald pendant in the Disney prequel.

Wicked Witch Of the West, who (atleast from Oz the great and powerful theories) may have made the shoes from her ruby ring after Evanoras (east witch) emerald necklace was broken.

Ozma, the true ruler of Oz. She/He could totally have a Once spin to him/her. They could have been hiding in Oz all along as the different gender and bow that they have stolen something from Rumps shop (necklace?) they are out for revenge

In the original Aladdin story there is a genie of a ring and in a bottle. I don’t know what that means in OUAT myths though. Could the ring be something that came from a wish and the inability to love/inability to die is tied to it? Maybe Jafar’ mother used a wish to save herself or become a healer and that magic ring keeps you alive but at the cost you cannot feel love for others? I don’t know why but I feel like if magic cannot make you love someone it does seem like it could make you stop (by taking away memories or perhaps even directly removing a heart).

Maybe the ting causes the user to always be unloved. That’s why Jafars mom wasn’t loved by the sultan and Jafar wasn’t either.

There are plenty of other things that have used the Ruby Slippers. Wicked for example had shoes that were silver but later turned ruby red. They never referred to them as Ruby Slippers but eh. Sane thing with Theodoras ruby ring. Its a ruby because they are implying it will be used to fashion the ruby slippers for Evanora since her pendant was broken. But I’m sure they wont be called that

We’re all just speculating lol. A lot of people thought PP and NL would have something to do with the Dark One’s curse as well but that’s looking less likely. Whatever the origin of the Dark One’s curse is, I feel like that might be a final season sort of deal. At this point, we know that Mader’s character (most likely WWW) has a history with Regina and my own headcanon is that Regina has the Ruby(whatever color they go with) slippers and WWW wants them back because they are the source of power in Oz. (probably not even close to being true but we’re just getting started) EDIT based on Phee’s post Agreed. We have yet to see the “undoing” but I strongly suspect it means Rumple loosing the Dark One’s ability and it being burnt off into the air, like Cora said back in The Miller’s Daughter

I am still holding belief that Chernabog is the creator and original of the Dark One curse. And if she has a history with Regina, then she may have a history with Cora and Cora has a history with Eva and Eva sounds like Evanora and Eva had ruby slippers and Evanora will eventually have ruby slippers… So boom >>

Hmmm. That seems a little complex. The beauty of the “dark one” is its simplicity. You stab a person, you become the new dark one. And the power is tied to the dagger. If the current Dark One dies without a successor then the power vanishes into the ether. Also, where are you getting that she has cursed them to the EF? 312? From what we can tell no one actually GOES (in reality) to the EF in 312. From the sound of it, it’s a dream or an AU. Everyone is still in SB.
