Maybe all inhabitants of SB who were from the EF (or any other land) were just split and copied over to the EF. So hook and the others may not have been affected by the first curse, but they would be by this one. But that begs the question of why Emma isn’t there… Oh wait, no. Snow could be pregnant with Emma in the EF rather than the new Snowflake…

Also, maybe Hook is shooting scenes in both EF and New York. He could have found a portal? Idk >> but I like this theory

Wicked: The Life and Times of The Wicked Witch of the West. Written by Gregory Maguire. Its very good and very dark novel about the witch. It was turned into a musical (which is good but a very watered down. Disney-esque, version of the story) you get the basic plot from the musical but the story is better in the novel.

Also there is Beastly. I forget the authors name. Its a modern type of Beauty and The Beast, where an arrogant young man is turned into a beast and will stay that way unless he gets TLK and all that. The book is very good for a teen book. DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIE!! The movie is okay, but doesn’t do the book justice at all. I believe it has sequels that take on different fairytales

Also… What do we know about sand monsters in myth? I remember the Cave of Wonders was a giant sand tiger… Maybe that has something to do with it. I mean they already estvished magic cannot revive the dead, yet Jafar is still pumping it

He obviously ages with time, unlike Rumple. Does anyone else think that Jafar will be turned into a genie, trapped in a bottle like in the Aladdin movie? Maybe it’s not a matter of killing him so much as trapping him. The Sultan did say tonight, “are you sure you’re not in a cage?” as if foreshadowing.

indeed I do. I think Jafar is going to make a very big wish as a last resort (when his plans have failed and he is down to his last wish) he will make the wish to be all powerful and thus become a genie, or he will wish for something but word it wrong and become a genie as the result

“Get Back In Your Cage, Father” is now my favorite OnceWL line >> best moment was the interaction between Jafar and Papa Sultan. Worst moment was…. Hmm. Idk. I liked this episode. This was a really great episode

I love that idea. It did seem like Maleficent was sort of “protecting” the world by hoarding dangerous things. Though its not clear she’s doing it for the sake of the world versus her own desire to hoard.

I’d say she is doing it for the sake of the land. She held back the curse from Regina for that reason. She didn’t want it used.

Maybe Rapunzels hair can be used for evil? Which goes along with my theory that her hair will be an ingredient to the new curse

Maleficent as Gothel COULD work…maybe. From what have seen, Maleficent seems to be a collector of perhaps magical objects that may bring others misfortune. The Curse was taken from Regina by her and I believe she said the mirror that Will and Ana used was bad, though I could be wrong? Anyway, what if Rapunzel is actually a bit of a brat? Maybe her hair can not only heal, but take away or steal a persons life force to keep herself young and ageless and beautiful? So then, Maleficent kidnaps her and locks her away in her tower.

Also, on an interesting note, Dragons have been known to collect gold and all sorts of treasures, and their caves were simply wonderlands of riches. Some were also said to have the power to shift into human form (though only at certain time points). What if Maleficent isn’t a human/fairy who can turn into a dragon…. But a dragoness who turns into a human… Just putting that out there >>
