Perhaps ten years ago he brought Henry to SB and Regina saw him but a younger him. He could have givn the book to MM and then ten years later, came back and added stories to it 🙂 yep. My new headcannon.

In the WL sneak peek, didn’t the rabbit say he was trying to get to the knave but the curse was preventing him from getting into SB? In the 19 minute sneak peek I mean.

I think this makes the most sense. Perhaps the bag is where she is keeping her potion. In the original little mermaid story, it was a potion that changes her instead of a spell like in the Disney movie. This is all very interesting.
So the shop scene is prior to the beach scene? Makes sense. I wonder then, how did Ariel get to SB if she was in NL (Regina brought who she wanted after all) and what has she been doing? The problem with Ariel having been in SB all along is you know people are going to say, “but why haven’t we seen her?”
Regina probably snatched her along when she casted the curse. I mean we’re assuming that’s what she did when brought Whale. And perhaps she was in a place we haven’t gone yet? Like StoryBrook High School 😛 And yes, I think the shop scene probably happens before the beach scene. They went to shop to get the potion, maybe the Trident, and then headed to the beach where they did whatever.
Hey, in Splash 2, the mermaid, Madison, was able to show her human lover his family and friends by touching the water. Maybe Ariel can do that when a mermaid?
